Cool chillis Reina. Wish mine had made it. I really need to get out there and harvest the rest of my potatoes now - all the leaves have gone yellow and are wilting. Need to check everything else after the torrential rain we've had here the last week. It's flood material by me at times at the moment. Thankfully I don't live near the bottom of the hill! Where's Matt? He must've moved house by now? No news on his garden yet?

There's no way I'm giong anywhere near that thing again. Burning it, therefore, would involve torching the hotel. Can't very well do that, can I?! This city never sleeps, it would seem. It still sounds very much alive out there.

My own petty nag is myself! I'm such a muppet at times. You'd think I'd have the ability to remember I have an allergy which is liable to stop me breathing, really, and that I'd make sure I didn't put the exact thing which causes the problem right behind my own head! I've spent the past hour and a half wondering why my breathing's going out of the window and my sinuses are feeling blocked. Turns out that for the past five hours I've been lying on a cushion filled with feathers. I've just stuffed it in a cupboard now, shut the door, taken medication and am hoping for the best

From what I know of it, it's just the symptoms which can be treated and the illness itself can seem to come and go (remissions and whatever the opposite of that is, when the symptoms come back after a period without them, can't remember the word!). It can be quite debilitating at times. Hopefully your friend's symptoms aren't too bad Rowan and she can get relief from them either with or without treatment. Rotten news. And Fudge - . Do something about it if you can!
