  1. How the feck can any pro club live off 40 season ticket holders. Mental.
  2. I just don't see us getting another keeper in. We have two already and one on loan there just isn't room for another. Long would've been on his way back to down south by now if he wasn't staying so it's these two till may I'd expect.
  3. Feck sake if it wasn't bad enough that TFS is said to be in grangemouth we now find out it's also in bloody fife. received_916408506548217.mp4
  4. A decent squad player if mcglynn can get him back to his Raith form. Can't see him starting but another option. Bit surprised as he was pretty much invisible in the recent game against us after he came on. Still a decent swap for brad Mackay however way you look at it.
  5. Hopefully back to normality against alloa but I do have nagging concerns over what the last two games has done to the harmony in the squad. Six players flung in in a strange formation and then 5 of them having the ignominy of getting dragged off at half time. Then this week no subs only for four of them to get flung on when there is basically zero time to do anything despite a poor performance. Certainly hasn't helped things that's for sure.
  6. It's been a good while mind you since we lost a Scottish cup tie to a lower league side. Stenny in 2018 I reckon was the last one and then before that was stenny again under Lambie. It happens now and again just our record against lower league opposition is very good over the years. Unfortunately it wasn't to be this season.
  7. Even Ross who was decent last week and not subbed wasn't brought on. Then just looks very silly when you do bring 4 subs on all at once in injury time. Different if we'd been all over them but that simply wasn't the case. Managers made another Horlicks of it.
  8. You never want to get knocked out the cup at any time especially not to a part time side in the league below but league wise it might not be a bad thing. Cup got in the way a bit last season and it's not easy fighting on 3 fronts. Money wise it's a blow but if we do go up it's not a disaster.
  9. Huge difference in bringing on subs to starting 6 players in a completely different formation. Not sure what mcglynn is playing at. Does nothing then brings on 4 subs in the 92nd minute. Absolute nonsense. Playing a part time team on a heavy park we should be using our squad as an advantage. They made 4 subs before we'd even made one.
  10. You'd think given the squad we have mcglynn would've added some fresh legs by now.
  11. My game in kirkintilloch is on and it's a grass pitch just to add to the other info that probably means completely feck all.
  12. I think if you look at sensibly though mcglynn wanted to not just get 5 players off he also wanted to get back to the tried and trusted formation we've used all season. To do that McCann was on for Mackie who was well off the pace. Yeats was on for mcginn again who struggled. So that sorts out your back 4. Miller has been on fire on the left so it was a no brainer he'd replace agyeman who had little impact. To play one up top shanley had to come on to replace Allen . That left him with one move left. Nesbitt had been on top form of late so John probably felt that replacing Oliver with him would make more of an difference than replacing Ross who had been pretty decent with Morrison. I'm sure if he had had 6 changes then Morrison would've been on at some point.
  13. Nah st Johnstone just edge it over them I'd say. Not much in it though.
  14. Why should I? It's a fact. I'm not making anything up here. I'd be more embarrassed if my club was trying to sign players they've got absolutely no chance of signing in order to try and either unsettle the opposition or give their own fans a bit of hope.
  15. Surely the recent game between the sides tells you everything you need to know. A packed away stand making a fantastic atmosphere or an empty home stand with a few utter nuggets trying to make a noise in one corner.
  16. Penalty looks borderline. His feet are certainly outside the box. On saying that the corner they got their first from certainly wasn't a corner. Might've been a foul on Long too .Ref didn't seem to have much of a clue. At the penalty one of their players is actually standing in the box as before miller even starts his run up but the ref does nothing about it.
  17. The biggest pisser is that this was a gimme 3 points for the first 11. Might only have been one nil or two one but we were going home with 3 points before this absolutely ridiculous decision to start a completely different side. Still cannot believe this shambles.
  18. May be right but any striker needs to play semi regularly to be up to speed and he's hardly kicked a ball for weeks. Even last Saturday shanley was on instead of him which is crazy if Allen was starting today. At least shanley has had decent game time this season though so should be a lot sharper.
  19. You can't take any game lightly in this league and putting out the side we did today is asking for trouble . It's clear that mcglynn simply hasn't taken Edinburgh seriously and hasn't given them the respect any team at this level deserves. Absolutely ridiculous decision. I'm a big fan of mcglynn but this is just not on.
  20. If he was going to start Allen this week surely he should've had him on last week instead of shanley. Too many players not match ready due to a complete lack of game time. This is turning into a fecking embarrasment.
  21. Too much fannying about with the side. No idea what mcglynns idea is doing that to this extent. Aye change it up a bit but sticking out players in completely different positions and formations is asking for trouble.
  22. Wee bit surprised at the number of changes but it's still a better side than any we've had previous to.this season.
  23. I'm not saying we should be winning promotion but it would be good to have a season where we are up challenging in the playoff area. Dunfermlines season seems to have turned into a struggle this year for instance and it will be interesting to see how their season tickets hold up if they were to end up mid table and not in the playoffs come may.
  24. I think the big thing for us if we do get promoted is continuing to ride the wave created this season into the championship. Further success sees crowds keep interested and at a good level otherwise they will undoubtedly fall off if midtable becomes a common trait like our years under pressley. If you can turn one promotion into another then I reckon you would see bigger home crowds in the top flight than we had under Hughes the last time we were up there.
  25. Lots of space for the RC55 hospitality penthouse suite.
