  1. If anyone is interested, James Berry becomes a wonderful player in Football Manager 2018. I know Sky Sports News use the Football Manager stats therefore they must be true, so this could be the year for wee James to become the player he was born to be.
  2. All the best players will be snapped up quick and all the average players with no other deals will be coming on trial. If you are good you are offered a contract, if you are average to pish you are offered a trial. Maybe we'll find some hidden gems but it would appear that we can't offer the money to be first choice.
  3. Court is a battering ram however I always thought he looked uncomfortable with the ball at his feet.
  4. Big M'voto is on his way back and will be converted into a striker for next season. King of the flick ons with Vaughan, Buchanan and Duggan running in behind. Its genius.
  5. I really hope Smith can use the loan market more effectively this season. Zanatta on his day could terrorize defences, he was just too inconsistent and a bit lightweight. Hendry on the other hand was a fighter and always looked to get the ball and play but never featured until March. If you look at what Alloa did in January, getting Stewart and Kirkpatrick on loan who both massively improved the team, it's a wonder why we couldn't bring in these types of players.
  6. If we are going to be playing direct football next season, we need a strong, energetic midfield that can push up the pitch and pick up the second balls. There is a way to play direct football and lumping it straight to the head to two big centre backs whilst our midfield stand back and watch the opposition collect the header, is not one of them.
  7. Mostly happy with the players offered new deals. I'm surprised Thomson has been offered a new deal. He is average at this level, a decent attacking threat at set plays but his distribution and all round technique is appalling. Thought Herron had more to offer but imagine he was on a decent wage, so no issue there. Big rebuilding job ahead, will be exciting to see some new faces and a freshness to the squad.
  8. If Easton goes, you'd imagine the board would just give the job to Scott Robertson, as he has been assisting with the team. Frees up Eastons wage for another rubbish East Fife reject.
