Right then, rumour from the lad on TDB who had us looking at Tony Watt a week after he signed for Motherwell, but he claimed it would be in the next day or two so at least we'll find out pretty quickly if it's shite. Claiming that we'll be signing a defender from the Championship in the next 24-48 hours. Considering being the only player (aside from Callachan) associated with Dundee this preseason, if this is really it'd almost certainly be Lee Ashcroft.

The moves the club has made of late are very understandable and are of the same ilk as many other clubs. Their consistent support for the managers is something I've been pleased with from the start. The club has went into this crisis with no outstanding debt, managed to keep a decent amount of the team that we had and created the potential to perhaps add to the squad. And with their American shrewdness have a very specific insurance policy in place that has a good chance of offsetting some of the financial strains placed on the club by this pandemic. So yeah. In my comparatively brief time of supporting, probably Harry Forrester scoring 13 seconds into the 2015-16 Scottish Cup QF for Rangers. With the free-scoring squad we had, I really thought we had a solid chance of at least returning to Hampden, and I could have my first visit there to support my club. I had complete belief that we had the better over a Rangers side in the Championship, and that the Scottish Cup dream could continue. Then Forrester scored. Immediately I had lost all hope and knew this was just going to be the same hammering as usual. Never since have I felt that genuine belief that we have a shot at the cup. As for this season, Dobbie's winner 13 seconds after our equaliser was pretty shite.

If John Robertson wins the league with a completely gutted squad, he should get the Scotland job.

Well, as predictions are getting properly started in every other league, let's get this one going. I really don't want to say this is a one-horse race, but it pretty much is. Still will be funny with Hearts being down though, so there's that. Dunfermline are looking like a really promising team, and imo will do really well. While our player base isn't exactly world class, we still have a large core of the better players from last season. Hopefully another striker and GK and we can improve on last year's mediocrity (yes, I know I'm putting it lightly).
