  1. Imagine the media reporting on a speech by the leader of the opposition....
  2. So why are we getting threatened with the chlorinated chicken? We weren't before? We are getting threatened with chlorinated chicken because Tory politicians who are in American pockets such as Fox want a free trade deal between the UK and the USA. Cholrinated chicken was on the agenda when TTIP was on the table so we were being threatened with it then but the media didn't bother to report on it.
  3. But does the EU not have a trade deal or negotiating one. If so, why does the EU not have to take the shite food/dodgy chicken but the UK would have to? That's the point. A tarrif free trade deal between the EU and the USA isn't going to happen. The EU is in too weak a position to start any TTIP pish again.
  4. A trade deal with the USA means taking their shite food, getting rid of country of origin labelling and opening up publicly owned services to competition. I do not see the EU going for that with Trump. TTIP died for a reason.
  5. This is about far more than Palestine. This shite is the weapon they are using against Labour because of their economic policies.
  6. Aren't those teams more likely to have close to full teams though whereas the Welsh ones will be torn up like our sides are? Cardiff and Ospreys will have less players away than Glasgow. The Kings and Cheetahs will be cannon fodder this season. Cheetahs have lost most of their best players.
  7. It's not even about anti semitism or Israel it's just the only effective way his critics have found of attacking Corbyn. No one who defends Corbyn in the media can actually come out and say the people who are driving this are right wing Tory and Likud supporters so it'll just trundle along with 24 hour a day coverage on the BBC.
  8. Looking at the fixtures I was thinking Glasgow get a rough deal with all four games against the two welsh teams in the conference during international release periods. To not have one game versus Bennneton, Zebre, Kings, Cheetahs or Dragons during the windows is a joke.
  9. Three Jewish newspapers have jointly run front pages calling Corbyn an existential threat to Jews in the UK. An absolute fucking joke.
  10. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/R_v_Huhne A belter of a scandal. Hunhe grassed up for giving his wife points because he gave her an STI he caught cheating on her with guys. The vindictive wife getting jailed and bringing her judge pal down with her. Simon Danzcuk leading the charge against them despite being a sex pest himself.
  11. I wasn't comparing him to Horner I was just saying that he is the only person who has made a similar jump. GIven all the scandals around Team Sky surely everyone has to be sceptical about these continual miracle transformations?
  12. So name the rider who made his first GC top 10 aged 32? Just as with Wiggins becoming invincible in time for the London Olympics and Froome going from 151 in the Tour Of Poland to the strongest rider in the Vuelta overnight there is nothing comparable to this.
  13. So when did he show this climbing ability? His best GC result prior to this was 15th. I don't recall him ever being in contention for a mountain stage.
  14. The only name I can think of is Horner and his heroic Vuelta win.
  15. So you will be able to name another rider who made this kind of leap aged 32 or older?
  16. I know. I was just pointing out that Thomas winning ahead of Froome is likely to be a political decision. Just as Wiggins ahead of Froome was. I expect Froome to slip off the podium to avoid being embarrassed in Paris on Sunday. Despite the far fetched nature of his leap in performance - he rode Roubaix this year ffs - Thomas winning will be hugely popular with the fanboys and allow the British press to steer clear of the reasons why Team Sky is hated in France.
  17. I think it's more likely a team decision has been made that Thomas winning would be better for Team Sky than Froome. Thomas out climbing everyone aged 32 is another Sky miracle. The fact that his leap occurred right when Froome might have been banned from the race is obviously just a freak co-incidence.
  18. Bernie Sanders on the Labour Party https://www.jacobinmag.com/2018/07/bernie-sanders-interview-alexandria-ocasio-cortez
  19. With Europe he wants to use the threat of tariffs to open Europe up to American products and services. It's gunboat diplomacy in the form of trade policy. With China they are simply trying to slow down the rate that at which the Chinese are accumulating wealth hoping to delay or somehow avert the point at which it overtakes the USA as the global superpower.
  20. You think that Express readers know the name of the Guardian editor? I know about the Guardian's biases because I read the articles on the Guardian website.
  21. Exactly. They'll accept (inflated) losses for a few summers if it means gaining 20 years of cheap labour.
  22. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/the-scott-trust/2015/jul/26/the-scott-trust-board The board is full or corporate stooges though and the paper runs stories which are directly paid for by Soros, Gates and Rockefeller. It's also fair to say that the independence of the editorial process is in doubt since Viner took over.
  23. If you believe that the German government aims to equalise living standards in Berlin and Bucharest you will believe anything.
  24. Things are more expensive in Norway, Sweden etc. The entire economy needs to be restructured. The 30 years downward pressure being placed on wages and conditions by corporations isn't going to stop, they will never have enough profit. Working people have to demand change.
