My guess is Mussy will bring around 200 supporters. There are 2 supporters buses running, plus the usual car travellers. Weather may have an effect though - current forecast is for rain!
Our enclosure holds around 180 so most if not all 200 will be dry. The other 300/400 will need brollies

All the very best to Bsc Glasgow in the draw for the last 16 of the Scottish Cup Really hope you get a dream draw. Ps average attendance this season to date 117 an increase of around 30% on last season. Highest home crowd so far this season 339
All going in the right direction.

I drove from Newmacher just to the north of Aberdeen and via the new AWPR last nite to Perth where I stopped for a bit,in under 2 hrs on the way home from Buckie v Vale.
Passed thru Angus and Dundee on the way,the travel excuse to the Aberdeenshire and Moray HL sides for Tayside teams is a hutch of pish, particularly Angus clubs!!
This pandering to a bunch of egotistical maniacs is beyond me,time and again they have been invited, asked to join and yet all the LL,EoS and to a lesser degree the HL have got is abuse!!!
You didn't by any chance do a headcount Buckie v Vale

Folks can give any crowd out the like for league games.
Problem arises at cup games when the other team are looking for half the 900 paying punters when the real crowd was 350.
Some of the Junior crowds stated on here are laughable. Suppose it gives someone a kick.
Think I have been clear in stating the figures I look for should include all on spectators barriers including free entry, paying, kids, helpers, committee etc. Just a general headcount of all, I have no interest in how many pay only. I have not been given 900 for any match. I find if figures are well out then in most cases people call it out. This is just a guide to show how well non league is supported. I believe figures will get more and more accurate as we go forward. I believe clubs understand figures given in most cases include all which I believe gives a more accurate fig for att. How many pay to get in is the club's business.

Weekend att / headcount 11/1/20
A few tbc so any help would be great thanks.
That's almost 350 games I have figures for with cumulative total spectators of 51,000+
Considering this was only started couple of months ago, and currently getting around 70% of games, it's been a very good response.
It is only a guide to show how well non league is supported. Hopefully with everyone's help we can get figures for 100% of games. Stats including cumulative totals would rocket well into 6 figures if we get all involved. Every attendance / headcount is important and every spectacular counts.
Thanks again for all the help.

Do you already have someone for figures at Lochee United? I go to a fair amount of games (home & some away) so I could help if needed?
I get figures for some games but always happy to get headcounts. All help is welcome.

Only a handful of attendances go into the average. But do the South Super & Premier Leagues do significantly better than the EoS Conferences.
With only 3/47 getting promoted things have the potential to get stale. 9/47 (one area wide with two regionals). Helps keep it fresher.
It's a bit early to say. I am relying more on supporters figures in the Juniors with quite a few estimated in the first few weeks. A good few clubs on board now and I believe more accurate headcounts. Still quite a few clubs to get on board and more headcounts needed. I have been getting figures for around 65/70% of games lately. Still early days with this but hopefully by next season I can get the same response as I get from EOS. SOS & Lowland clubs.
Interestingly I did a wee stat just before Xmas regarding average att / headcounts for non league
All junior regions combined average att 154
East of Scotland, south of Scotland, lowland & Highland (non league seniors) combined average att 156
All juniors and non league seniors combined average att 155

Can you explain any further? I know my club have got some of the smallest crowds but they are increasing so surely that’s a positive.
Only 1 club averages under 40, with 3 clubs between 40-50. All other clubs range from above 50-400ish.
East of Scotland clubs are getting pretty healthy supports regularly. Some more than others but that's football. Even the club's averaging 40/50 have a strong base to work from and can grow their support. I bet the club's with the lower support still get fantastic backing on the pitch and off it.
The league set up has been fantastic and many clubs are improving their grounds and spectators facilities. It's all very positive from me.

Thurso v Orkney (played at Halkirk). Free in (no gate taken), but I headcounted 44 of us stood out and a further 8 watching through windscreens = 52.
Excellent, thanks for your help it's really appreciated.

That is interesting regarding the crowds you had prior to EoS switch!
I certainly have noticed larger crowds coming through the gate at Olivebank and I think it is cause locals appreciate the changes that are currently happening and the improvements, we and other clubs are involved in.
I would say the average crowds at Musselburgh used to be max 200, which I thought was poor for a town the size of ours. Slowly but surely we are seeing new faces coming to the ground and the good thing is that hey are returning for more matches.
I also believe improvements to ground and spectators facilities is the way to help crowds grow.

It did crack 4 figures and regardless of missing 1 season's competition it was a great crowd.
While others see good things being written in P&B - you appear to look for the negatives in posts - strange!
Bo'ness Utd v Linlithgow Rose att / headcount of 1150 was higher than all 5 SPFL league 2 games and 3 SPFL league 1 games.
Musselburgh Ath v Tranent was also higher than 2 SPFL league 2 games.
We have a great product at the EOSFL & lowland league. As does the other areas of non league. There's an opportunity to make it fantastic in future.
