  1. To be fair, you’ve came out with a fair bit of nonsense over the last couple of days and been unable to support pretty much all of it.

Claimed there’s a clique at the club but been unable to explain who said clique are.

Claimed the club have argued about the terms of the premier STs yet been unable to confirm what club official that refers to.

Had a go at the, in your words, “social media mouthpiece” who is in fact an extremely hard working supporter giving his time free of charge to help the club.

Stated “facts” that are in fact just your opinion.

I suppose it’s always easier to give a negative opinion than it is to actually offer something constructive.

    Fair do’s

ill happily hold my hands up and say I’ve been overly critical over the past few days..

My point about the “clique” was more about the atmosphere around the club. I did mention that.

The person who made the post about the premier season ticket said on their post they had spoken to someone at the club. I was saying what i had read from his post.

My comments about the “social media mouth piece” are my opinion. I haven’t once questioned how hard they work for the club. Its great they have the time to give up. Others don’t have that privilege. I certainly haven’t “had a go” as you put it.

Its also easier to give a negative comment when there is not much positive things happening.
  2. I pay my money like everyone else to watch my local team play football.

If something happens that i don’t agree with i voice my opinion on it, just like everyone else does on here.

I also post positive and negative comments on the Fb page as well.

But yet I’ve to go back and “support celtic” because i dont agree with everyone or everything the club does ? I don’t think so.

Because i don’t tow the line and fu*king brown nose the club I’m some what less of a fan than anyone else ?

    How does that work?

I care about the club and there is nothing more i want to see than for it to do well . I was more than positive towards the clubs idea for the ST standing order scheme and i will always be supportive of them trying new things but i wont stand by and just kid on everything is rosey, when i don’t agree with something.

Thats maybe not everyones cup of tea but i certainly wont be changing my opinion or how i voice them because people don’t like it.

A lot of people go on about getting people to come back and support the sons. For years i would go to parkhead instead until i was finally convinced to come down and I’ve not been back to parkhead since. I am one of the converted, i would much rather go to a sons game than a Celtic game. Ive turned down european nights at parkhead to watch the sons play. But that doesn’t get taken into account does it, nope always just going to be a “celtic” fan to some people. I cant change that.

But i will not be dictated too about what i can and cannot say about how i feel about how my local club is operating or performing.

  3. Regardless of any confusion over wording here, taking your own club to court over some Betfred Cup games is a whole new level of "what the f**k" for me.

Would you be saying the same if you had spent 500 quid?

Then to be told that what you paid for isn’t what you where getting ?

  4. They did? I was just advised all games were intended to be covered by the ticket from the get go and a fellow fan actually confused the situation (not that they meant to) by claiming cup games weren't covered. Did the guy posting on the Facebook group confirm the club aka board members were arguing with him or is that just an assumption?

It seems like the chairman himself has swiftly moved to confirm that all games are covered.

You do seem absolutely desperate to make a mountain out of a mole hill and it does come across like you are just waiting on any minor incident so you can go on the offensive and slate the club for it.

Did you read the post on FB ?
  5. If the financial grip is as tight as we are led to believe i doubt the club would have been happy about dishing out 500 quid and possibly facing to hand back all the money from people who had purchased the “premier” ticket under that pre tense. Im sure there will be changes made to it next season to avoid such confusion.

  6. Where did the club argue it was only home league games? Who was representing the club in said argument?

As far as I'm aware the mistake was using the wording "all home league games" when the ticket was always intended to cover cup matches.

It's an easy enough mistake to make and seemed to be resolved fairly quickly. Non event IMO.

They obviously argued the point with the guy who has brought it to their attention by saying it was only “home league games”. When in fact at no point in any of his paper work/contract/info from the club its states that.

If they didn’t agree to what was in the contract. They would have been in breach of contract or they would have been mis selling a product/service.

    Surely thats obvious. 🤷🏼‍♂️
  7. Thread developing on FB where it looks like the club have made a big of an error in describing the Premier Package ST.
It's a wording thing,  1 place says the ticket is for every home game, another states every home league game.
Boggers' tour may include the small claims court [emoji23]

It doesn’t mention anything about all “league” games.

On all the info from the club including the contract signed it says “every home game”.

Club now arguing that its only home league games but this is not stated in any paperwork from the club.

    Only Dumbarton. 🤷🏼‍♂️[emoji85]

  8. Fact? But you will never know?

You may well have made an attempt but with two 'keepers already signed, with what looks like a very small budget based on your signings so far, why would you sign a third who would be on inflated wages having spent a season in the championship?

This "clique" pish comes around alot on our thread aswell. Most of the time it's aimed at fans who do nothing more than buy their season tickets etc. @silverton end knows what I mean with that!

You have your opinion and i have mine. [emoji1360]
  9. Why would we even attempt to sign Martin when we already have two keepers on the books and have done for a while now? Three keepers when finances are so tight would be absolutely ludicrous.

Hardly “absolutely ludicrous” taking into consideration some of the absolute jobbers we’ve signed...
  10. How do you know we didn't offer Martin a deal?
The only thing that can make you feel differently is you and your actions. Get into the middle of the bed.
I've been missing the games the past couple of years but I'm going to actively try to get involved more by doing what I can. Started with buying a brick but from bricks, walls are built. The club needs us.
I'm going to try and get to as many games as possible this season. If it means one game then it's one game more than last season.

    Good for you [emoji1360].

Ive missed 3 home games in 2 years.
