  1. Incredible day yesterday. This season feels like a turning point for the club. Us fans have been through a torrid time over the past 5 years and it’s been hard at times to stay positive but what we have done this season has been nothing short of sensational.

Make no mistake, we deserve this. We’ve backed the club in numbers and the support we’ve shown whilst being in the third tier is incredible when you consider what we’ve had to put up with. So congratulations to the players, management team, board and staff but most of all congratulate yourself because you’ve played a huge part in this success

McGlynn mentioned on the Falkirk FC podcast he wants to get his signings in early and he's just said in the Falkirk herald preseason starts again on the 14th of June so we won't have long to wait for some signing news.

Agyeman was confirmed on the 12th of May last year.

I get the feeling Agyeman was confirmed so early to appease the fans after the Airdrie disaster. I could be wrong though

  3. I know this has been covered multiple times but I really can’t get over how much Hamilton and their fans slagged off Tait. The player we got isn’t the guy with a bad attitude that they portrayed. The guy has been brilliant but he’s worked his socks off and looks like a complete team player

  4. Anyone any idea on Lang’s situation. Someone at the game yesterday said they’d heard his knee was done and his playing career is likely over. I assumed it’s been miscommunication and that he’s just out for the rest of the season but wondered if anyone else has heard anything

    Like it did today?

I completely get showing for the ball but not on the touchline when Mccann's that close and that central. It was Mccann's fault but if Hogarth isn't so far over he clears that.

Hogarth was in the correct position. Just because McCann made an arse of it you can’t then try to put some of the blame on Hogarth.

I can guarantee that if Hogarth stood in the goal mouth and a pass went back to him, which ended up in the back of the net, he would be getting crucified for making such a basic mistake

Think we will be without coll for both games and the start of next season as that will be down as a violent conduct red card.

If alloa win tonight Annan still be our toughest game with them looking forward to the playoffs.

I’m not sure how it would be violent conduct. He didn’t swing a punch, elbow or kick out. It was a tackle, which endangered an opponent and should be a one match ban

Mccann obviously should have looked before playing the pass but what the f**k was Hogarth doing standing on the touchline.

Basics of football but I suppose it needs explaining to you. Keepers make themselves available outside of the goal so that a misplaced pass won’t end up in an own goal. Hogarth did absolutely everything right. McCann played it without looking and it was completely his fault

  8. Got to feel for Coll. Not much he could really do as he had to try and clear the ball, which he did but unfortunately the follow through was right into the guys chest. The noise was so loud I’m surprised the guy got back up. I’ll need to see the replays but I’m sure it comes from Hendo going to attack the ball and misses it.

Draw feels like a win today and we keep the unbeaten run going.

Yeah probably not. Makes me wonder what the current wage structure at the club is? According to Football Manager, our top earner (before any contract extensions) is Morrison on £800 per week.

I suspect McGinn would have been our highest earner before Morrison’s new deal

Im not convinced there will be a clamour for Tait. He has had more failures than successes whilst out on loan and I believe a lot of clubs will look at his form as him playing in a very good team where things are going well.

I’m not saying we’re guaranteed to get him but I don’t think there will be many better teams than us after him in the summer

  11. I’m going to be in the minority here but I’m still not convinced that we should be offering Mackie a new deal.

He’s played very well recently, however, my biggest criticism of him as he can be a complete liability at times and I’d argue that even in these recent games he’s done things that show he still carries that trait. My concern is he’ll get away with these just now but he may not against better opposition.

I’m not opposed to him being signed on, however, I won’t cry if he leaves at the end of the season
