  1. Before he became a director he told me he attended games. Absolutely no reason to dispute that at the time nor check up..
  2. I’ve known him loosly for quite a number of years and I always got the impression that he was a fan. Anyway, his tenure is up as from tomorrow.
  3. Not true. He went regularly to away games in one of the supporters buses. You May be correct about home games but I doubt it.
  4. Superb response from QL. Not much support but that’s how I feel.
  5. Heard a rumour that Sheerin has been summoned to a meeting today.
  6. You sound like an old broken record. Lets hear some solutions, please.
  7. Just calmed down a bit after leaving after 4. First half was hopeless but we looked strangely much better in first 20 minutes of second half. However, no luck. Defence is rotten. No physicality, no fire, no nothing. Surely an emergency board meeting would have been called for tonight or tomorrow including present and future directors? Action is needed now!
  8. Not surprised you're white knighting you utter cretin. Just giving you the truth. Take a look at the front pages of the Guardian, Independent day after day. The BBC is just itching for more restrictions as are SKY.
  9. Appreciate there will be changes at the AGM but I just hope that the new directors are going in with a coordinated plan. If not, it’s all a waste of time.
  10. It’s just so noticeable how the left leaning media and left leaning politicians all seem to want more and more restrictions. The right of the Conservative party and GBNews, the Telegraph, the Mail and the Express are the only ones that are adopting a libertarian approach of ‘leave it up to the individual’. I don’t think it will be long before mainstream conservatives will be telling the SCIENCE, Michie et al to ‘sling their hooks’ Time now for life to get back to normal.
  11. This is definitely one for welshbairn. I wish you every success.
  12. Like everything else, this seems a situation where some more FACTS would be helpful. If a fan has been rubbishing a Director In a non - threatening manner then that seems reasonable criticism. If, however, a directors family has been targeted or threatened, then we’re in completely different territory.
  13. Absolutely. When I go to the dentist or doctors I put on a mask otherwise i wouldn’t be seen. Pragmatism!! Never wear them In shops, restaurants, buses, trains.
  14. Yes, the woman who, on BJ’s instructions, bye passed all the civil service rules and got the job done. Why is she not being prosecuted?
  15. Actually, saw him on Saturday evening buying wine from the wine shop in an upmarket restaurant. Looked very chirpy.
  16. I’m just amazed at how meekly people adhere’d to the ‘rules’. I just refused. No government has the right to tell me whom I should see or mix with. If I’m breaking the law, so be it.
  17. Interesting debate on a Politics Live just now with Tim Stanley and Mark Harper MP arguing for a libertarian approach. There was also a woman from IPSOS MORI who said that the public were overwhelmingly in favour of MORE restrictions and even banning all foreign travel. Very depressing!!
  18. You are correct about the smoke detectors and, I think, carbon monoxide detectors as well. Anyway, it cost me a good few hundred pounds a few months ago. The electrician was telling me that he was so busy and it was all so lucrative that he had bought stock for about £12k to cash in on it. About all this compliance nonsense, everyone should just ignore it and LIVE!!
  19. You are correct in that, as a unionist, I dislike (not hate) NS and the SNP but this Covid business transcends party politics. In fact, most of the posters on here are independence supporters who have fallen out of love with the SNP. Correct me if I’m wrong. Likewise I’m disillusioned with the Conservative government who have managed to forget conservative principles and fallen in with the anti democratic, left wing academic establishment. I think Boris’s heart is in the right place on this but he has given in to the perceived ‘caring’ policies of the health lobby.
