Looks like you fancy the league this year and splashing the cash to secure it.
Creag is our player. Connor a free agent and Ciaran left a couple of months ago to emigrate but returns due to circumstances. Choices definitely enhanced though.

Did you not get the memo that the only team you can comment on is your own?
This must be the only section of the forum that has people that actually think that.
I suspect not everyone thinks that. I'm not even being particularly horrid

You knew your intent exactly....
Yes indeed. My intent was to imply that the loss of a very good player and the speculated transfer of another would be a blow to Beith's title chances. All of that on a discussion forum on a thread of the league that said team are in. Yer mate's taken umbrage at McGlinchey rumour - fair enough - he's a good player and would indeed be a loss id suggest. I'm not sure what YOU think my intent was but my thoughts are that Beith are still favourites to retain their title esp if any monies received for Rossiter are pumped into strengthening the team.

For Scotland yes, for the bigotry-stained drains on the whole of Scottish football no.
As I say I think it unlikely we'd want to change for avoidance of an Old Firm game and the vast majority of our support would probably be annoyed if we did. Friday game isn't a small change of course and there may be very good reasons for not complying

Kick off set by league as 1:30 I don't see any valid reason to move any kick off to suits a game out of our league.
I don't think the Old Firm will be bothered one way or the other tbh ... but if it doesn't suit one party then it shouldn't change. We've requested small changes this season that have been knocked back by other side and it can also happen vice versa. We do try to help out where we can though.

The decision to make such a concession would impact on the integrity of the league IMO.
Tbf if its a change of ko time to ensure your gate is not impacted by another game then as long as both clubs are OK with it then I dont see the harm. I can't see us requesting for a domestic game- but we've requested early kos up against a Scotland game for example. It just stands to reason

Utter nonsense regarding Conner McGlinchey.
With regards Blair leaving then it is hardly the fault of Beith that certain clubs are willing to offer players at our level rediculous deals that turn their heads.
Stick to worrying about the Bankies as Beith will be just fine with regards being in the running for another league flag.
Righto.

Darvel are the best side I’ve seen this season, though Benburb blew us away on day one.
We’ve lost two in fifteen, think we’d lost 5 or 6 at the same stage last season. Both losses to Benburb.
I’d say that’s fairly consistent.
Last season after game 15 ( on 11th Feb no less ) our record was 9 0 6 ... we were 5th. Beith had played 18 - 13 2 3 ... so in a pretty decent position with lots of teams falling behind in games.

Beith sell Rossiter to Johnstone Burgh and seemingly looking to offload McGlinchey. Thats not going to do a title challenge any good you'dve thought. Decent players.

Talbot are 100% out of the mix. People suggesting otherwise are giving this side way too much credit based on the achievements of previous sides rather than the stark evidence of this season's performances. I'd have your hand off for a top six finish and a cup right now.
Fair enough. I missed the game at Beechwood so not seen you this season.

I think Beith wul win it again. Bankies then talbot 3rd which wul be an achievement given the start we hud.
That would be a body blow but we just need to keep ekeing out results. I agree that Talbot are not out of any mix despite the start but any of top 8 or 9 will have a say in the league

You've got to think so. Won't help some teams with their backlogs

It’s absolutely right Bill.
There are a load of teams who are dangerous opponents so it’s an incredibly tough and competitive league. Its all about who keeps consistency and at the moment Clydebank are definitely the team doing that.Games in hand in a league this tough don’t count for much but points already won absolutely do
Reckon the winning total will be fewer than the 66 points Beith got last season. Fantastically competitive league

Problem with getting a run at it in West Premier is that there are a glut of teams that can cause each other real problems. Top 8 or 9 are well capable of taking points from each other.

0-0 after 90 - 5-4 Pollok on pens
Decent game after 1st 30 being scrappy. Both sides pretty even albeit we had a lot of pressure in last 20 without causing Longmuir too much grief.
Pens decent as well and Longmuir doing the biz when Jambo was slightly unlucky with a couple.
Can't say I'm too despondent as it's all about the league. Best of luck to Pollok
