  1. I guess the game will go ahead on Saturday, even if it's 2 foot of snow. It is after all about which team handles it better, not if football can be played properly.
  2. If you think that's conditions to play football, then you'll accept any old pish.
  3. Arbroath seemed to manage just fine. You need to play the hand you're dealt. Bitching about it is just that - bitching. Bitch. It is football we are meant to be playing and the conditions couldn't allow football to be played. I think the officials didn't do their job properly and the game should never of gone ahead. It's not about dealing with it. If calling out somebody doing a shit job is bitching then so be it. Dick and his team knew how to deal with it much better. In hindsight, we should packed the penalty box like they did when we had the hurricane in our faces and gone for the 0-0. Shouldn't come down to that though.
  4. Football shouldn't come down to who can shitfest a win in a hurricane. Not Arbroath's fault. They did what they had to do and were much more switched on to it. It completely flummoxed our lot.
  5. Huge blow for us today. We were very good against Raith on Wednesday and we were hoping to go on a good run from the confidence. Genuinely pissed off that the game was allowed to continue today. Clearly would only benefit the team that plays there every second week. Never seen anything like it 35 years of watching football. I really hope we use this a motivation from here and kick on to second place. Can't see Raith coming second with that defence. Think Dundee will edge it due to better fire power. McManus, O'Hara and McCann is a middling championship selection to choose from.
  6. Yep, no excuses. Our team had lost the plot going into that second half.
  7. We fell to pieces from the start. Players were complaining about the game going ahead from the first minute. It was heads gone stuff, whilst Arbroath just got on with it. Arbroath knew exactly what to do today. Almost like they had experienced it before.
  8. Think he was out thought badly today, but it was utterly bizzare that the game was deemed suitable to play football. Really pissed off that farcical game came right after a great performance on Wednesday.
  9. Ye probably. Just never seen anything like it today. I really don't know how that was deemed sufficient conditions to play football. Arbroath tactically got it right and not surpisingly adapted to it. We looked puzzled at the start that this was allowed to continue and I think the players were out of sorts from there on in because of it. We just couldn't adapt. I'm sure Arbroath will enjoy a good win tonight and quite right. As a Pars fan I will quite happily forget the worst and most bizzare football match I've ever seen.
  10. Arboath are more familiar with shite games like that, not sure how you can't understand. The comical conditions at your ground makes it very difficult.
  11. That was the worse example of a football match I have seen in 35 years of watching football.
  12. Turned the volume off for second half. Can take anymore of that slaving nugget Fermer
  13. The shot went about 500 mph in the net with the wind behind it. Fucking shocking that this is on
  14. That line up could fit in a 3-5-2. More likely the one above though
  15. Registered and paid within 2 minutes. Painless Fear this is going to be the same as the Morton game a couple weeks back. Think it's going to be a really tough afternoon for the Pars.
  16. Fon Williams has made some good saves and for 80% of the time he looks a solid big keeper. He does make too many blunders and they always end up in the back of the net he does it. The Raith goal was a shocker and the one he let in against QOS when McKee scored from 25 yards, showed a another lack of concentration with a saveable long range shot. He had a bit of a mare against Raith at Starks too. He's better than Scully and Gill but still not good enough. I think we need to look elsewhere for a keeper for next season. Our recent keepers have been pretty poor. Think we maybe need to look outside the Scottish market to find a solution.
  17. Maybe a replacement for Euan Murray. Thought Euan would've signed a new deal by now if he was staying. Only four months on his deal. Same as Turner. I think both of them will be on their way.
  18. Transfer windows? Nah. Pars sign players when they decide.
  19. Pars have signed a 6ft 5 Lithuanian international defender Vytas Gaspuitis. Something to do with Skerla
