Subbed after 29 minutes in his last game for flogging two goals and never appeared in the squad since. I thought he struggled in the Scottish Championship after looking good in the season we won league 1. He's done well to get a few gigs in the English football league since his time with us.

Going by his age. He would have been due to retire somewhere around Bert Paton resigning or Dick Campbell being punted. Not sure if Yorkston and Masteron would given Norrie the job when they decided to borrow and spend big. They seemed to want somebody who had worked abroad, which was flavour of the day around that time and more experience. Maybe after Calderwood left and Hay and Leish were apppointed would've been more likely a time he may have got a shot. We were really struggling to stay up around that time though, with loads of cut backs. That would've been a tough gig at that time, but who knows how it would've turned out. He certainly had qualites that would've made a good manager.

Connor Shields looked good last few times I've seen him with QOS. Physical and direct and now getting goals. Maybe one for the summer.

Sheilds looks the exact type of striker Pars need.

Few years back now but McMullan was good with us. We had him on loan from Celtic and I wanted us to sign him but Arabs came in with a 2/3 year deal and got him. Not only good at getting past full backs, but also doesn't mind helping out defensively. Fairly consistent for a winger too. Good signing for Dundee

Never know how players kick on when they get a bigger move. I remember scoffing at Lyndon Dykes moving to the Premier League. I think Murray's goals are attacting the interest more than his defensive performances. We've been pretty poor at set pieces this season. Granted not all his fault but he's a big part of that defence. A good defender for us and would say he and Pars are good match. Might be capable of moving up but Aberdeen seems a big step. Would rather he stayed and signed a new deal, but I'm confident we will be able to replace him.

Good to get Dow and Comrie signed up. Would imagine we've approached Turner and Murray about new deals by now too. In terms of new signings. I could only see a new striker coming in if McCann get's loaned out. Lewis Martin's injury is becoming worrying. Now got more complications. Wonder if we will want more cover there. Coped OK so far I guess. Central midfield is well covered and Fraser Murray will be fine covering for the two wingers.

Thought we played pretty well for parts of our game tonight. Good to see us try a different formation, which worked well and rest a few key players. Rovers have a good side this season and I won't read too much into one result. Think there might be goals in this one again. Fairly confident of a Pars win here though.

Maybe you need to worry about your own team showing how Raith Rovers they are instead of obssessing about the big team.

Thought that was the best we've played in a while. Real tactical battle with the managers and the game swung in favour of each side at different times. Inverness can really play high intensity stuff at times and we struggled for large parts of the second half. Think the management team did really well with the subs and Pars looked the most likely to win the match last 10. Bring on the Rovers.

How is ground conditions in Inverness? Been frozen solid here for two days. Do ICT use USH?
