  1. Yes Stonewall good tackle I had the best view in the house no penalty but as I said you give the ref a decision to make if you go to ground in the penalty area. Also had a great view of the dive, didnt even execute it very well.
  2. I was in line with the penalty decision and it looked like a fair challenge but if the defender goes to ground in that situation they always risk a penalty being given. Can not personally comment on the other issue but the word from those nearer, the ball did not cross the line. Pity that a penalty took away the clean sheet our defence deserved. Kilday and Semple developing as a good pairing and that is helping Stewart.s confidence as well
  3. A bit hard on supporters who turn up week after week. The difference you miss is the supporters pay to watch the football The Management and players are paid to provide the entertainment. I personally don't believe the players give less than their best but I do question the strange management decisions recently. Its my opinion that the fans should hear from the management team the reasons behind some of the selections and set ups. The manger blames the forwards the mid field and the defence every week he never accepts any personal blame. Football is a game of opinions and the opinions of those who turn up each week are worth airing. I strongly sympathise with the support All they get is a note on the next game and an interview after the game. Surely one of the management team could give a weekly report on how things have gone at the Palace in Hamilton. A bit on injuries would help and even a bit of miss information would help. Anyway Football is a game of opinions but unfortunately few agree with mine, Oh and Queens have the best away support I have come across and I just know they will do their best to bring us home tonight
  4. and why was Mercer started when not fully fit, same as Murray last week and why replace Mercer.a defender with Petravicious, a forward who had a mare against Dundee. We had defenders Ledger and Gourlay on the bench. Beggars belief those management decisions
  5. Just heard the managers post match interview. No questions again asked regarding his decisions. Why was Mercer started when not fully fit particularly in conditions as they were. He did the same against Dundee with Murray with the same result. Considering how the Morton game was going, why oh why was Mercer, a defender replaced by Petravicius, a forward who had a mare against Dundee, when he had 2 defenders. Ledger and Gourlay on the bench. Only the manager knows. He seems to say he is being forced by others to sign players and in his selections. Its time he adopted that 'the buck stops here'
  6. You'd drop Dobbie? No I would not, but if, as was said, he has a knock then I would be interested to see them. However I do think we ask to much from Dobbie. he must be under so much pressure it could affect his game. I underestimated the work Dykes did last year so I hope Hamilton can take some of the load. Dobbie was on his own last game No wonder if he picks up a strain. I might wait for the teamsheet in that case. We don't look like scoring with him in the side just now, no chance of it without him. No doubt everyone will disagree with me but I would like to see Hamilton and Oliver up front. The last game changed when they were brought on.

  8. Come on folks. Even although it has been a depressing run of results and team selections, if we field Kilday and Semple in a back 4 and get Hamilton on with Dobs we can get a result on Saturday. I notice that Semps has scored twice against Morton at Greenock He will be bursting a gut to get a third at Dumfries, if he gets selected before the boy Devine that is. Live in hope.
  9. Certainly agree that Semple had a fine game after being out for so long. Well done big man. The set up was 3 CBs and 2 Full Backs' not Wing Backs and with our Mid Field and Forwards poor we were encouraging Dundee to attack us. The defence performed well and I don't remember our keeper making a decent save. What was obvious was that the danger was coming from throw ins. I would have expected our keeper to take a couple of these throws as there was no way a throw was going to be switched to the back post The only time we looked like scoring was when we introduced Hamilton and pulled Devine. Semple and Kilday handled the back no bother on their own and at last we pushed forward but way to late. I thought Dundee were there to be beaten but it looked like our set up was to get a nil nil draw With Semple proving his fitness surely we can get back to him and Kilday forming the base to enable us to get on the front foot and start to accumulate some points before it is to laten
  10. It won't happen. There's too much Semple in it for AJ's liking. Surely he has to dae somethin Its not to much to have the lad and Hamilton starting. at least the line up would include another 2 big lads to defend crosses and its not to much to expect the two of them getting a headed goal at the other end. But like you I agree its a big ask, but we can but hope.
  11. Finished 3 - 3 Good result against the team at the top of the reserve league.
  12. Do not know the deals just trying to understand the reasons for the managers team selection. That's the real conundrum
  13. Very poor arrangement if that is the case. Certainly was not included in Hamilton's deal and was not applicable to the loan agreement last season for Frizzell. Would have worked for McGrorrie however.
  14. Anyone think its strange that the 3 loan signings in the latest transfer window have played every game even although the manager criticises the defending. A keeper. an 18 year old boy and even manages to slot the midfielder into the defence. Looks like he intends to play them every week. Mystifies me
  15. and scored against Morton at the start of the season playing with broken ribs
  16. Compared to the usual AJ one it was night and day. Details of young players, reserves and injuries with questions from a few people. I don't expect Paxman just relevant questions explaining decisions made that picked that team Just my view others may disagree or even agree.
  17. Only want to hear an interview similar to Grant at the end of the highlights on the Alloa site. Unfortunately if you watch it you need to also watch the goals again.
  18. That's fair enough but if he wanted to go 352 surely yesterday was the ideal game to try it out? I know someone said Semple limped in but if he was injured he surely wouldn't have been out at HT. He was on the bench so was certainly fit
  19. Certainly agree with you. Manager says the defending was crap but does not explain why he picked it. Nothing about those left out. Even why Hamilton did not start but altered the game when introduced. The lack of information out of the training centre at Hamilton is astonishing
  20. Yes a poor selection and the rest of the results went against us. The Morton game is a bigy now
  21. Fully agree with you. The loan system is used to allow clubs to ensure promising young players get game time. I have always been uneasy when a side like Queens get to rely on a loan player like McCrorie. In his case it's all about the player and Rangers. The loan has been good for Queens as well as Rangers but the lack of security has come back to bite our bum. I have no doubt this lad will play for Rangers and I wish him well. At least at Livingston he won't have to face the scoring machine that is Lyndon Dykes
  22. Do agree with most of this but a bit harsh on Dobbie considering he was playing out of position and set up a great chance that Hamilton should have taken. He did get dragged into the time wasting but he could have done with a bit of strength up front to back him up .In truth we never looked like getting the better of a 'professional' display in the 2nd half. Its hard to believe that that team will get promoted but no doubt they missed McMullan from the line up
