  1. the one good thing is we have plenty of wingers to come in if the starting Murphy will likely come in for Hastie on Friday and well likely Henderson will keep his place as i don't see Walker or Tomlinson making the jump into the first team yet
  2. Would love Lawal thou I feel it would be a step back in his development for Celtic he dominated in The English third tier so going to us does feel like going backwards for him but as said stranger things have happened
  3. The worry is he might end up being a McGeady 2.0 where it’s obvious he’s done however providing we also bring in a young CM on loan as well I wouldn’t be as against it
  4. TBF to McKenzie his loan at Forfar was cut short by COVID and then had to be relied apon when he wasn’t ready but still very much valid
  5. How we managed to get him I’ll never know, did we pay for him or did Coventry just let him go for nothing?
  6. So it’s McKenzie and Bryden fault and not the fact that we had managers who couldn’t manage a McDonalds never mind a football team
  7. And probably could have been so as well for Adeloye if we didn’t stick him out wide most times and only played 1 up front
  8. Cause McKenzie contributed more then Ashford did the one full season they had together and with less starts and minutes Ashford: 7 goal contributions in 27 starts McKenzie: 9 goal contributions in 18 starts
  9. Your not gonna hear me say McKenzie is a good striker cause his record shows he’s not a natural goal scorer, but he’s strong enough to be a pest for defenders and quick enough to still provide something, I’ve always said he was Dipo’s best partner up front as he did a lot of the dirty work and helped give Dipo more freedom to do what he did best he’s best used as a sub to bring on when your needing to hold on to a lead if McKenzie was anything other then a striker he wouldn’t get as much hate end of the day if and when he does leave Ayr he’ll likely be a solid option in league 1/2 similar to a McGuffie/Hilton and in future youth players can look to him as proof if you can work hard enough yoi can break into the first team and be a mainstay/make it in the top 4 leagues
  10. yeah was brought up before, makes sense for him as he needs proper game time to get back up to peak match fitness and he wasn't going to get ahead of Dempsey or Rus and while he is better then Syla, Syla is able to run about more so this loan will help him and then he'll almost be like a new signing when he comes back in January, hopefully this means we do have someone coming in soon as we are now down to 3 Centre Mid's and McKenzie as your options
  11. McKenzie is a good defensive sub to make as he'll run about and chase, you can tell Hastie will be a bit on and off so the sub made sense, as said earlier he probably isn't the guy you want to bring on when your needing a goal cause he ain't a goal scorer but he does the dirty work
  12. McAllister was likely signed as a Squad Player who can slot into RB or CB if needed
  13. TBF Watret last year looked in the friendles but struggled against Stirling Albion this year I reckon it will be different I don’t think he will be starting every week but he’ll get significa game time need to remember he’s still only 17
  14. Jamie Hamilton was part of training again according to Accies twitter as well as Devlin
  15. VOR reckons it'll be Musonda I would prefer Stanger think he 's done okay at RB when he has played there before
