agreed i think the likes of Smith, Bryden, Jenkins, Watret and Tomlinson's all go out on loan while you have the likes of Bilham, Jeanes, Bangala, Viviani, Dolan who have all been out on loan can add cover on the bench

i would be curious on the case of maybe letting him go out on loan as well to get some guranteed game time

he's been in and out the lineup 10 starts from 24 appearances, he gives it socks every game but there have been some games he has looked out his depth (the game away at Hamilton on TV being the biggest example) he was probably our 3rd choice midfielder behind Murdoch and Dempsey and was doing better then Bangala, but then of course McAlear came in and Hewitt replaced Bangala and gave him tougher competition and that lead to him getting less game time, hopeful he gets a better chance this coming season as i think he's a good squad player right now to have and should be trying to build him up as one of the top youth players in our team (along with Bryden)

i would keep O'Connor as well i just don't think he would want to cause Bullen for some reason does not rate him, Bilham and Jeanes i can't really comment on but i wouldn't be too fussed if they stay or go really

i think McAllister has improved since last season and is still young enough IMO to improve more, Houston i would let go no doubt and Hewitt if he's still contracted for a while i would let him go out on loan again to get more first time action

I will say Smith looked like the only guy on that pitch that was playing like his life depended on it fought hard even with the score line should be starting more games next season

in terms of back up keepers i did remember at the last Raith Game Bullen was away chatting to MacDonald at full time, reckon he would make for a solid experienced back up even if he's a DKB just not sure if he would want to be a number 2

if Akinyemi is back i don't doubt us scoring 3 at the least to go to extra time i just don't believe we can keep a clean sheet against Partick

That's fair thou i look at his stats and he had the same amount of goal contributions this season as McAllister, Reading and Houston combined (3 Goals and 3 Assists) which for me has been a problem for me all season with our fullbacks (thou i would say Davidson would be an upgrade on Houston with McAllister as the more defensive backup)

speaking of new RB's saw Jake Davidson was getting let go by Queens Park would he be worth a try?

i feel we overachived in general but just how we started off so great only to falter near the end and somehow still managed to finish second is a miracle, i wouldn't be trying to sack Bullen unless he decides to walk and see how he does next season without a miracle buy like Akinyemi but next season i'm just wanting midtable safety

yeah they still have McGinty, McKenzie and Ollie Ecrepont as end of year contracts even thou i think they are all signed on for next season (McGinty and McKenzie i'm certain of)

Maguire just infuriates me to no end clearly has the brain but his body is fucked and he shouldn't be starting would rather have went with Ashford or Bryden and have them play alongside McKenzie who should have really never been left essentially up top by himself, our fullbacks as usual were dross and Partick knew that, need to play 3-5-2 cause our midfield gets overrunned when it's only 2 and we need 2 up top at all times
