You're not going to get any short term success out of Glenrothes but a sustained pr campaign over a number of years may do it. A very OF town at the moment.
Cheers, bud. We're just down for the one night but hopefully get a good few drinks in beforehand!
May Day Pressure booked now, too. Going to be an excellent couple of months!
Anyone got any gigs coming up?
I'm heading down to Manchester on the Easter weekend to catch Carl Cox & Friends at the Albert Hall on the Saturday. Fancied going down Friday too for Dixon & Ame but when Green Velvet & Alan Fitzpatrick were announced for Easter Sunday in Edinburgh there was only going to be one night winning.
Also seeing Jamie Jones & Adam Beyer at the Liquid Rooms for Nightvision's season 4 closing party (April 29th).
Will be out in Amsterdam in April so might so who is playing then and Ibiza has been booked for 18th to 24th September. Will catch Carl Cox doing his last set at Space and hopefully a couple of other closing nights.
£75k would be great but I can't see it. Like Renton said, it's great to have a youth team producing players now but it always seems to be the Edinburgh clubs hoovering our younger prospects up before they've even hit our first team.
Had a great time seeing Slam and Dave Clarke at the Liquid Rooms on Saturday. Proper baws oot techno. Not the best venue in my opinion but probably the best night I've had there.
Really enjoyed SWG3 the other week too. Turns out I've been in there briefly before for 2.8 Hours Later (zombie game) and just didn't realise! Good venue but not the Arches. Luckily our hotel was a short walk away so didn't need to deal with taxis.
Stop being a tit.
Everyone knows it's going to sell out quickly now but if you are able to buy 10 at once then I'd say that is a bit much. Apparently the online booking was stopped as well.
Good to hear, guys. I was pretty worried nowhere would be able to pick up from the Arches but by the sounds of it SWG3 is a class venue. Can't wait now!
I'll be at SWG3 next Friday for 2manydjs. Really looking forward to checking the venue out as I've heard good things. It's sort of replaced the Arches for now so how does it hold up?
