Before Saturday Larky had lost five out of the last seven games by a single goal, and in some of these games deserved to get something out of them, however to go to Kilsyth who's home record is exceptional minus a goalkeeper and two out of the back four missing for starters was always a big ask. They do not have any depth in the squad so when a number of players are missing they have players covering these areas and with all due respect jersey fillers making up the team. They competed very well until the penalty followed by a quick third that killed the game and the inevitable collapse happened.
Was it a blip ? or a return to the horrors at the start of the season ? If everyone is fit and available then I'm pretty confident it was a blip, albeit not a pleasant one.
