The Bino's no. 5 pushed Salim every time the ball went near him including a reasonable first half penalty shout and the ref didn't blink, so these things evened out a bit. Yep the referee let a lot of things go for both teams. We coped better with the decisions than Stirling did. Their manager behaved poorly and that quickly passed to the players who wanted to contest every decision. Ray never let it bother him and remained calm and focused, as did our players. Full credit to them for doing so and getting the result!

It was great that his Dad and brother could see his goal yesterday. Hopefully the first of many for the Club.

I thought we deserved to win. We worked hard and were willing to close Stirling down and forced them into mistakes. If Stirling put as much effort into closing us down as they did harassing the ref then they wouldn't have lost.

We have 4 goalkeepers at the club. Willie, DC, Jacques and Kieran McDougall. Kieran is currently on loan at Edinburgh Uni.

I doubt anyone is going to drop down two leagues from full-time football so they go and get a day job!

Ray and Laurie have been brought in and I assume given targets. I doubt the target is to finish 9th! The initial job will be to get us as high up the league as possible. The next will be to get us up a division. He's had time to assess the squad and has obviously decided it wasn't good enough to make the targets set. That's football (professional football). All 6 signings are either full time professionals or have come from full time football with no other job. They can concentrate fully on playing for Queen's Park. Ray and Laurie have a challenging task ahead but it's been a positive start. They have worked in this environment all their working lives. We, at Queen's Park, are still coming to terms with this new world.

Exciting January and still space available for 1 more loan that we can bring in before 29 February if required.

Where did I express my opinion on any signing. I said that Sean Burns wouldn't fit our recent signing policy.

Doesn't fit our recent signing profile. We have signed full-time footballers from higher divisions. Players who are comfortable at playing at a higher level.

The Club is changing, let them do what they are comfortable with, not what's imposed on them.

That is a decision for the Club. For me I would give players a contract and you can always give who you want to keep 18 month ones so they are tied down now for next season.

The Club approved professionalism in November. The Club can sign professional players from then.

When planning how best to take the club forward would you not firstly sort out your coaching side before turning attention to the playing side? Now that the coaching side has been sorted I imagine that the playing side will be addressed pretty quickly as the transfer window closes at the end of the month. I can't imagine any club having a complete squad overhaul in January so I imagine it will be strengthened by adding some players. Ray McKinnon said as much in his Sky interview. To help integration I hope every player is looked after.

Jamieson was not suspended, he failed a fitness test before the game.

No idea what all this has to do with the game but I hope when we are lining up to thrash Real Madrid in the 2030 Champions League final we rename the stadium The Sir Willie Haughey Stadium.
