  1. Delighted. The main reason I voted to go professional.
  2. It is the wrong time for restructuring. It should be done in the best interests of Scottish football, not to save 3 Clubs from relegation. Hearts really, really annoy me! They are apparently being relegated through no fault of their own. They had the 3rd largest wage bill in the division and it was significantly higher than Livingston and Hamilton's. They were bottom of the league and poor all season. They took too long to replace their manager and then brought in someone with no experience of the Scottish game. Total mismanagement from start to finish of the season but they were relegated through no fault of their own. Come on!!! I have sympathy for Stranraer who have done magnificently in the past few seasons. If Hearts or Thistle used their greater resources in the same manner as you guys then they wouldn't be getting relegated!!! Professional football is a harsh and cruel environment. There are winners and losers. I think your magnificent run outside the bottom league was a great achievement and I sincerely hope you survive the current situation and look forward to many hard games against you in the future!
  3. If Championship is starting in October then League 1 and 2 should start then too. The Premiership is different for TV money but everyone else should be the same. Makes it easier for League and Scottish Cup. Scrap the challenge cup.
  4. Suggest you get the drugs in then for the Messi announcement
  5. This will be our biggest challenge, getting our league to start. The Championship not starting until October and only 27 games.
  6. If Tatters is turning down money, it must be a really bad deal!!!
  7. The phrase "trying to pick the pockets of the dead" springs to mind!
  8. Not surprisingly I disagree. Clubs who finished 2nd to 4th would have a chance at the play-offs and promotion. The automatic promotion for second spot was done away with years ago, why should it be brought back now after the season has finished.
  9. Football is still suspended until 10 June. After that only Premier League clubs can return to training and only then under a stringent testing regime. We've seen Premier League clubs say they will struggle to do this. Given this what chance is there of Youth and grassroots football returning in the foreseeable future???
  10. What if it's a whole season? The clubs who can play across 3 divisions shouldn't get together and play. We stop training, developing players and playing football for a year when we have the opportunity to do so. Good luck to any Club that can shut down for a whole season and can come back unaffected.
  11. That is fine if there is a League Two. What happens if all the clubs in our division don't want to play. Should we sit on the sidelines and say "ok we'll wait on you to be ready, just give us a call when you want to start again".
  12. If football is able to restart and we are full-time then hopefully we will be included in any league set-up that starts next season. Some clubs are saying they can't or won't play. We seem to be saying we will play. Hopefully we will be included in any league set up under the Premier League. Happy to play Hearts!!!
  13. Can only think Sky have said that they want Hearts in the Premiership as Hamilton couldn't wait to kick it into touch so the start of the new TV deal wasn't jeopardised!
  14. I'm not too fussed about Thistle. Can't see football starting anytime soon so makes me wonder at the Premier League's rush to get the season started in July. Never going to happen! I'm certain that whenever football does start we will have a strong squad capable of competing at the top of the table.
  15. 20 years is a hell of a long wait! Firstly, we must all get through this safe and well! Once football is back and we are ready to go then let's come back with a bang and give our younger fans some moments they will cherish for many years to come.
  16. We want 14-14-14, why would we take in 2 new clubs. 16 teams and Elgin, Peterhead, Cove and Brora in the same league. Who in their right mind would take that!
  17. It may not happen. If clubs in our division stick to our guns then it's 14-14-14 or nothing. Would prefer 14-14-14 but would take nothing over 14-10-10-10.
  18. Those 4 teams aren't in the bottom tier currently but will be under this restructure. The Third League isn't the bottom tier!
  19. You just said it would be harsh to relegate anyone causing further harm. That's exactly what will happen if Clyde, Peterhead Forfar and Stranraer are all relegated. Cove are also denied promotion. Nonsense!!!! Clyde, Peterhead, Forfar and Stranraer stay in the third league. Cove and the other 9 teams in League 2 get promoted.
  20. I would scrap it this year. Brechin stay in to fit the principal of no team loses out. Automatic promotion every season after that for the winners of the HL/LL play-off. Relegation for club 42. A proper pyramid system. Queen's Park changed 152 years of history to ensure we never become club 42. It's adapt or die. That is modern football. You have to move with the times.
  21. Just my personal opinion. I would offer the winners of the HL/LL play off automatic promotion with the bottom club of the 42 dropping out.
  22. So doing something for 3 clubs is better than 10 and a whole league. Getting a whole league to agree to something is incredible!!!
  23. You have 3 Clubs pushing reconstruction, Hearts, Thistle and Stranraer, looking after their own self interests. You have 10 Clubs in the same league coming together and pushing a collective goal in what they see as the best interests of football.
  24. The Scottish Government's Framework document states social distancing is here until we get a cure. Should make direct free kicks easier to get through the wall!
