  1. Investigators have not released many details on how they figured out Rossi was at a hospital in Scotland.

We are not going to answer the questions of how we found him, as that would expose investigative techniques,” Utah County Attorney David Leavitt said in a statement after his arrest. “We will respond that we found him through diligent investigative efforts, which we passed on to Interpol authorities, who located him in Scotland.”

It's 'Christmas & New Year' or 'The Festive Season'  NOT 'The Holidays'.

you can bet your house that someone who refers to Xmas holidays as the "festive period", also calls Santa "Father Christmas" and quietly refers to toilets as the "loo".

So recently we've had Twitter change to X and Fifa obviously became FC24. Prior to this, we've had ISS change to Pro Evo change to people calling it PES. So I thought I'd create a wee thread just to gauge where we're at in terms of actually talking about it.

That "obviously" is doing some real post match interview heavy lifting there.

Hoyles a fucking wet wipe at the best of times.

can't imagine him for a second as an MP for 20 odd years being in any way critical of the Government - his own or the Tories - on any issue of substance. Someone said that he has an unhealthy obsession with Princess Diana which seems about right.

Perhaps one of this weirdo tag team can answer the very straightforward question then:

What evidence is there to show that these issues (whether real or existing in your head - as some are inherently subjective claims) were caused by centralisation policy?

I'll give you all some time to identify the fundamental difference in Scotland's context (no, not independence).

and whilst we are at, give us the opportunity to bow to the superior intellect who has graced us all with their presence on this forum. I for one feel truly blessed.

It's good that there's a small haven where people are actually positive about the show. Twitter at the moment is an absolute cesspool (although maybe it's always been that way) with people - usually middle aged, white English or North American males - spouting 24/7 vitriol because they don't want a black gay man in the role.

The three specials were great and the Christmas episode was a positive start to the new era.

The three specials were meh. In my opinion a mistake to reinsert Tennant and Tate. The last special though much much better than the preceding two - I think they both fall into the whimsical and child-friendly category of quite a few RTD episodes. When he writes darker stuff, it is very very good but of course the Dr Who target audience is a wide spectrum and I completely accept that many of the fanbase lap-up the "timey-wimey" type dialogue/plots.

The House or Lords, has the potential to be a good second chamber for scrutinising the government, but it's been deliberately broken by the recent Conservative PMs.

Aside from the recent spate of corrupt appointments, you have the likes of Ian Botham, Floella Benjamin, Arlene Foster and George Foulkes in there. The only way a second upper chamber has the potential to hold Govt and legislation to account is to take nominations and appointments out of the hands of self serving politicians (of any party).

  9. is/was there not a TAmber who sang something about the wallpaper sticking to the wall? One line - perhaps two. And he sang that incessantly on loop. I recall someone posting about being sat next to him hungover on a 3 hour flight heading back to Scotland whilst he sang that. I think something like that would seriously send me over the edge and randomly and bizarrely, I think about that situation quite often even though I had no experience of it.

Louped the barrier there a few months ago glorious feeling.

10 mins later a random guy gave me his day ticket for the subway which I took as a sign from God to bump the bus station toilets everytime in future.

£4.20 saved plus 30p on the pishers. Ship had truly come in that day. Should have peered into a couple of random bins to see if any treasures had been prematurely surrendered 🤣

but surely the pun in the headline merits a couple of points. Too many opportunities for puns are passed by in such cases - real goal gaping chances going a begging. More evidence of the decline in journalism.

Came on as a half time sub for Norwich at West Brom yesterday.

I see Liam Cooper is now not getting a game for Leeds just like McKenna isnt getting one for Forest. Not ideal.

Porteous not also in and out of Watford team. Was on the bench the other week.
