The easiest of arguments. Is a squad player staring at the 5th best team in the EPL better than (possibly) the best midfielder in the Championship? Having seem both play I believe they're of similar stature to each other along with Stuart Armstrong ( who plays at a better level than John McGinn- but this doesn't matter). Callum MacGregor is more talented than Scott, John, or Stuart but he doesn't play in the EPL but that's not important, because what makes a good player is their ability to play not their club.

The poll ( and it was a supersized poll of 2000) found 17% of Yesers would now vote no. Some of this might be down to the fiscal problems we've faced in Scotland since the oil crash, the majority though must be down to Nicola's overbearing leadership style. I'm a card carrying SNP member and even I'm bored with Nicola's daily appearances on the tele to talk Brexit. This was a time to keep mum and let the UK tear itself apart.

I see the Progress Scotland poll was swept under the carpet because it showed around 40%-60% on the indy question. The drop of in quality between Salmond and Sturgeon has been vast, and it's at least 12 months till Alex gets cleared.

Eu election results ( if they happen ) will be funny. Presumably all leavers in England will either boycott the elections or back UKIP. Turnout will be sky high from remainers. Would probably result in a good night for the SNP, Lib Dems and UKIP.
