  1. I think that I remember that game, I think that Jim March had recently signed and was playing in a more forward role. I was standing in my usual spot behind the goals at the Gartlea end.
  2. It's quite simple, you either back McCabes judgement or you don't. Personally, judging by his tactics and style of play, I'm backing him and if it all goes tits up, then it has been a great journey.
  3. I don't think that we would have beaten Ross County, as they are a big strong team, and defensively better organized than we are, but think that we could have put up a better show and given them more to think about than Raith did. Also we don't have the resources to survive in the premier league.
  4. Watching the play off game and the team that we dominated all season haven't laid a glove on Ross County. I think that we could have given them a much better challenge than Raith are providing and Simon Murray could be the difference again, over the tie, as he was against us, when he got Queens promotion.
  5. If we can tie Rys up, I'm sure that he would attract a better player, due to the style of football that he plays. I would just look at the improvement in Charlie Telfer, compared to his Falkirk days, that's why I voted for him as player of the year.
  6. St Mirren an Ayr United are at the top of my hit list, due to Stewart Gilmour and Bill Barr going above and beyond with their efforts to have us booted out of the leagues. Anything that happens to those two, would be cause for celebration.
  7. And here was me thinking that I was the only Airdrie fan who had taken a mental note of the cants who voted against us, and hope to see a large chunk of Karma descend upon them
  8. Liked Tony Watt, when he played for us, but why the f@ck was he not booked tonight? Outplayed them tonight, but lacked the killer touch. Odds stacked against us in the playoffs and heavily in favor of the premier club
  9. Well, that was quite a long winded retort. Callum Gallagher, good player, all round nice guy and deserving of hall of fame recognition. I've been around much longer than the 22 years on this talking shop, and have witnessed some excellent strikers playing in the diamond and have my own ideas of each ones contribution to the history of the club.
  10. Not a criticism, just an observation. And if you look closely at the picture, you will see Stevie Cooper bearing down on the Celtic goal, in the 1995 Scottish Cup Final.
