The backing of 'Sir' Walter Smith is just further proof of how reluctant Rangers fans are to change. They have an entrenched view that if you are not a 'Rangers' man, you are not to be trusted. Nevermind the fact that Smith has absolutely no background in running a football club - he's a Rangers legend and will be backed unreservedly. Men who want to save the club - Bill Miller and Charles Green - are told to piss off. They never change. Their history is filled with the hounding out of people without a Rangers background. Bigots to the end. They are even worse than Celtic in this regard.

Why are they making 'every effort' to keep McCoist? He is a terrible manager who should be on panel shows. They should be doing cartwheels upon his supposed resignation.

Exactly, Rangers have long been embarrassed to be associated with Scottish football, constantly hawking themselves for 'atlantic leagues' and moves to England and withdrawing players from Scotland squads. Cut them adrift and let them form their own league.

Just watched (and facepalmed) the Newsnight interview with Richard Wilson and the Rangers fan last night. Wilson claimed that this was the day no one wanted. Yea, cheers for that. Rangers fan also claimed that it was not a moral argument to drop to the SFL3. Copious forum posts would suggest otherwise. I will not be a paying customer at Ibrox next season if they are relegated.
