While we failed to create much against morton there is also the fact that they sat 11 behind the ball in their own half pretty much all day. Other than occasional breaks they offered nothing and clearly played for a point. We do need more creativity and their are some players not either up to this level or playing at it but in our league any team set up as negative as a morton would get a draw. Be interesting to see with Dunc contacts what kind of new faces and options he can bring especially if they are outwith the usual avenues. We also need a clear out but I suspect caution due to not wanting to waste cash on pay offs while being short on numbers.

Kudos to the small morton hard-core who travelled for this. Morton came to play for the draw, played deep and parked the bus. Credit for the players discipline following that plan. Caley didn't do enough though, turgid in the final third. Don't think either keeper had anything to do or created much. Exactly and with more than double the income now from the ESL, they can afford to spend millions on a second srting squad more than capable of maintaining the gap to everyone else and keep their duopoly. Big bucks can then be spend on second rate foreigners who will be over priced and over paid just for a change to be part of the ESL and get that move to a 'big' team.
