  1. Bassey has been brilliant...but his great recoveries are coming from his own poor positioning.
  2. It's been a pretty good game. Both seem well matched but Frankfurt a bit better technically. No idea why van Bronckhorst shuts up shop when they go a goal up. Costs them far more than it should.
  3. I don't think there's a hope in hell that Cove can offer him the deal he rejected from us, let alone more.
  4. https://www.aberdeenlive.news/sport/football/football-news/aberdeens-dante-polvara-insists-more-7090440 I really like this guy. Hopefully it works out for him here.
  5. https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/andy-considine-snubs-jim-goodwin-26978181 From the article: The Dons had offered Considine a deal on reduced terms and when his camp went back with a counter-offer then the club decided to walk away. Aberdeen then put out an angry statement in Goodwin’s name after Record Sport had broken the story that Considine’s Aberdeen career was over. It went into some of the specifics of the negotiations but left out a key factor, mainly how much they had asked the player to take a cut by. I know it's worded in a way to try and gain sympathy for Considine. All it's done is make me question how much he was on before!
  6. Good for him. That's taken some balls. Part of me is a bit worried for him. 17 years old. I hope he has enough good people around him as he's going to get some awful abuse from the dregs of society.
  7. He's 35, just returned from a major injury and broke down injured in his return game. He also wanted 2 years which would take him to 37 by the end of his contract, all on a decent wage. As much as I love and respect the guy, we can do better.
  8. It's a new manager, with no loyalty towards him too. There's not much anyone could day to me to convince me it's not a sensible decision.
  9. Saw Dr Strange last week. I thought it was decent. I'm able to suspend disbelief pretty well but even I thought it started get a bit silly. Took my young son to watch, knowing it was going to be a horror film, but expected it to be given the usual MCU treatment . I Left in disbelief that it had the same rating as Spider-Man: No Way Home Some gruesome deaths.
  10. Ventured in, against my better judgement, to the surprise that is 5 pages of both sets of uglies arguing over who's worse. A normal Sunday.
  11. Aye, several times. Went over specifically, then on the lap at the end. Good support from St Mirren today, especially for a final game with nothing to play for. They also gave Consi a great reception on to and off the park
  12. He was lucky not to be booked for the first one. The referee had a word with him which then saw him talk himself in to a yellow card
  13. That was some bolt. You'd be forgiven for assuming he must be touching cloth.
  14. Quite an awkward lap the players had at the end. Mcgeouch's daughter wouldn't hurry up and didn't want carried. He ended up getting his own awkward, long ovation from the Dick Donald stand. A fantastic send off for a nothing player
  15. Then Glass shouldn't have been sacked. Considine should get whatever he wants etc.
  16. Didn't win but the defence looked tighter and more balanced with a left footed player on the left hand side. Some amount of shite being spoken afterwards on Sportsound.
  17. Mind that time Rangers had the biggest budget in Scottish football and died?
  18. Another example of why we're getting the abortion that's VAR. Glad that season is over.
