  1. I don't think it's so much you canna shout and scream but the fact the manager can't just give you a clout if you're not falling in line.
  2. We like to loan out young defenders to teams expected to struggle. I'd imagine we'd be loaning out a forward player of his age to a team likely to have him attacking for the most part. Could be some truth in it.
  3. How GMS lasted 86 mins was beyond me. Worse than a man down. Referee had a howler. About the only decision he got right was the red card.
  4. If that squad is more than good enough to win most games they play then why couldn't Lennon do it?
  5. Sounds similar to the end of McGhee's time here...at least you had some enjoyable moments!
  6. Hibs at Pittodrie is up there with St Mirren as the worst opposition I've seen at Pittodrie this season. I missed the Hamilton game though.
  7. Very surprised to see Stewart getting hassle from here, from guys who weren't at the game on Saturday no less. He was one of the bright sparks in an otherwise unremarkable performance. His touch into Shinnie for Lowes goal was great. Can't see May giving us that. Constantly able to hold off the defender and turn them as well. If there is any blame for Cosgrove being isolated then that is on GMS and McGinn both sitting miles away from him. I said as much when GMS was injured and was told he has been our player of the year so far. Individually he performed, but we've looked so much better as a team without him. It's no coincidence that GMS is back and Cosgrove looks like the same player we saw from August to November.
  8. When did Stewart say he was unhappy at Aberdeen? Genuine question as I've only ever read positive stuff despite it not working out as all hoped.
  9. Would doubt that one. We don't pay massive weekly wages. They're heavily incentivised.

  11. What revisionism? Yes, he's a very good player but if he was consistent he would never have been at Aberdeen in the first place. He comes so deep for the ball that he leaves the front man isolated and by the time he's taken on two or three defenders, we're crowded out in the box. In my opinion there's a lot more balance to the side with McGinn and McLennan. That's not to say I don't rate GMS. Talent wise he is the ebst of the three by some distance. If he signs a new deal I'd be happy enough but we won't miss him as muich as we'll miss Shinnie.
