Papers saying Dundee want a manager in place for the weekend. If that's to be believed there will be an announcement at some point today...hopefully.

There's been plenty this season as a Dundee fan - mostly to do with Mcghee opening his stupid fat mouth. Mcpake playing Jason Cummings on the wing before shipping him off to Australia needs to get a mention too.

Strachan has already played his Mcghee card so probably John Robertson or something...

I guess if he opts to go there as an assistant then he was never sure of being the main man again. If that's the case then he's done us a favour. I still reckon it will be him, though.

Hopefully he doesn't take the team to Alton Towers pre-season...

At this stage I'm just wanting an announcement as soon as possible to allow the manager to prepare and put together a team worthy of winning a relatively ordinary championship. That's not from a position of arrogance by the way. Maloney isn't necessarily the problem for me it's the boards reluctance to do anything the straight-forward way. Why do we need to constantly appoint an experiment manager? Why do we have to appoint an experienced manager that couldn't be on the sidelines for half of his remaining games? Its painfully frustrating...

I would take him in a heartbeat and I think most dundee fans would. The question is more would he come to us? Could we afford his wages given that he was probably earning a decent amount over in Australia? Is he what McIntyre wants?

I'm sure there are ways of proving these things if you are genuinely that concerned. You seem sad enough. Back to Dundee, would we be happy with trying to get in the likes of O'Halloran? I'd love to see someone like him come in. Other positions of priority is rb and lb cover..

Just concerned about amount of time spent on particular clubs threads as opposed to your own. You seem to be in denial about your obsession, it's better to admit these things. Not a returning poster. Just a long time reader of the forum.

Hiya lads, First post on the forum. Concerned with lack of signings so far - where is this budget that there was talk of? Davies will provide extra cover and an experienced head in churning out results. Another question...who is this utter freak masquerading as a St Johnstone fan that lingers constantly on the Dundee thread? An unhealthy obsession it seems.
