I did mention in my previous posts in regards to strengthening as to where they would be playing. Felt they gave up the ghost, but now with a reprieve purse strings maybe opened further.

Not inside info as such, more a respectable figure who's well known and now not involved in football. Has been asked to manage by various clubs but not willing to come out "retirement".

Heard today there may/will be a u-turn from the SFA in regards to Bonnyrigg Rose. They've gone ahead and signed boys in respect of remaining in the EOSFL where they may have strengthened further. Hopefully all cleared up soon.

Anybody applied or know anyone interested in the Coldstream job? Cracking setup down there and wouldn't want to see last seasons work goto waste. Would hiring a manager rather than a coach take them backwards? Wonder how many players they retained for upcoming season and if any plans put in place as I know they where waiting on Fairbairn's decision re moving abroad to coach.

I understand that, and provisions where made for them to get what was needed but these weren't in place when the licensing check was done. They will only win the league next year again anyway.

I truly believe there's nothing Bonnyrigg can do, LTHV would have something to say on the matter if reprieve was given.

That really depends, they are 'coached' really well. Well drilled and disciplined. However the BUCs games sometimes take their toll. Most of the laddies are playing full time, I know they have a 'merger' with Currie Star but unsure if any laddies will be stepping upto their 20s and possibly first team I don't know.

There are various Hawick amateur teams under the hawick name. And for the life of me cannot remember who was the best one.

Bonnyrigg will not be in the Lowland, unfortunately. Whitehill will remain in the Lowland.

They improved on the field albeit not winning game(s) but performances improved 10 fold. Very resolute and defended well. Again hard because local lads don't have the correct mindset but will struggle in my eyes to attract players unless the purse strings are stretched further. Previous manager was promised a budget and was shit on I believe.

LTHV hadn't applied for their licence though. I stated that in my post about a rule change.

I have a feeling this could have implications beyond this season. LTHV, couldn't afford the necessary stuff for licensing but did win the league 3 years on the trot and didn't kick up as much fuss. I do understand, rules where changed at the final hour tho.

Who decides the grass is too long? Brenden Rodgers tried to implement a rule on it but don't think it passed hahaha

All local lads who have dug in, one of the players auld boys owns a construction company and certainly isn't short of a penny. Neither is their goalkeepers auld boy. Both investing heavily into the club. They've got more ££ than Berwick Rangers.

Pitch looks class and is REALLY well kept, rugby one week and football the next. In a sense they've been lucky.
