Dundee know fine the forecast is terrible from tonight through to Saturday. All this statement bollocks today is simply so they can say they tried (ie it was playable on Thursday which is utterly moot when the game is 2 days later) when the inevitable cancellation is made on match day.

I have sent this on to the relevant people and I have received word that when - not if - the game goes ahead on Scotfoam Sehturday, they expect an apology.

Nelmsy's asking if you can get that apology in so it can get read over the tannoy instead of the line ups.

Isn't that the point everyone has been making though?  We spent part of our budget on infrastructure in recent years.  So new facilities, improved conditions in the stadium, better fan experience, and yes, that likely meant we probably didn't have as big a player budget as we potentially could have if we just decided to sit in squalor in a run down shambles of a swamp.

Isn't that what Dundee are doing? Investing vast amounts in a new stadium project whilst staying competitive at a high level?

I basically need to leave now or I won't make it. Is there still a Greggs at Kinross services? Might help to salvage the day when it's called off.

Surely it's not that bad that Greg's is seen as good?!

If that's the case then close the doors, close the doors Dundee FC. Close the doors close the doors I say.

It has been suggested many times, but has it been confirmed this is the problem?  If so, surely Scottish Water and/or the cooncil should be on the hook as well.

Everybody is talking about Dens Rd but the only time I remember any drai age problems it was Cleppy Rd about two year ago and it was all crumbling.

Just watching the Chelsea game and they were saying about how Cole Palmer has been a Man United fan. Saw him giving it big licks after his goal. Got me thinking, if hypothetically you had to play against  the Dee how do you think you would react?

    Thank you.

I've seen mention on here that its the plumbing on Dens Road that causes the problem and the council refuse to do anything about it, so Dundee are relatively helpless about it all.

This is the first I've ever read of it so thank you for that. I highly doubt it is the case though.

Cooncil groundsmen oot to spike Dens Road? 🤷‍♂️

Hud on, if anybody getting spiked near the Clep then I'm on first dibs.

  8. Been watching some stuff relaring to this. Scary how many folk have come out of the woodwork now they feel a bit more freedom and safe to do so.

There's some woman who I can't be bothered fact checking but she's claiming three guys who were all there from the beginning left Coombes side and were - at the point of death - writing books on their lives. They all died of the same thing too.

If even half the stuff written is true, it's both harrowing and bewildering in equal measure.
