  1. This has to be the only other option. If the league is starting in October, we don’t have any choice now but to play. But if it’s January or later, maybe ....?
  2. Does anyone know (or have strong view) on what will happen with leagues 1&2?
  3. Is Hearts legal challenge to stop what’s happening or to be paid compensation?
  4. Possibly it’s back on the agenda so that the Board can argue that they’re tried to promote alternatives if Hearts do pursue legal action.
  5. Is there really a material difference with the proposals? Is it simply because there would be 14 teams sharing prem prize money rather than 12?
  6. Can someone please explain the self-interest for clubs in voting against the current proposal? What’s the benefit?
  7. Is there any chance of clubs being allowed to admit a lower number of fans than capacity? If we had 1500 s/t holders, they could be accommodated with social distancing.
  8. Fair to assume that Fox and Zanatta had their salaries cut pretty big in the hope of getting to activate relegation clause?
  9. Wonder when the club will update it’s messaging on season tickets (unless I’ve missed something).
  10. Can’t see any of them being offered new deals (regardless of current situation). Although McCall seemed to like Robson, and he did seem to be playing better.
  11. The last thing the game wants, yes, but not supported so far by actions of most clubs.
  12. This is grim. If we’re not resuming till 2021, surely it would’ve been to have placed 19/20 season on hold and resumed then?
  13. Key is that “some of the cuts” will be 40/50%. Would guess that players we want to punt are at the higher end, while those we want to keep will be much less.
  14. Definitely Fox. No need to have him anymore. Sneddon just as good, potentially better. Agreed on O’Ware. Dunno about Bannigan. Depends which Bannigan you get.
  15. If we’re cutting costs and have the ability to get rid of three higher earners, who would you pick?
  16. I’ve no idea what happens practically about bringing players in. Nothing is going to happen until end of June at the earliest I’d imagine. The transfer window won’t kick in at the end of August. Clubs are surely going to be reluctant to spend too much on new wages, given lack of ticket money coming in. Players may be more inclined to stick with what they know. Who knows basically.
  17. Reconstruction is dead. I wonder if a group of clubs could jointly fund legal challenge.
  18. It’s a strongly worded statement. Few will disagree with its contents. Some will criticise for it not having any outcomes, but I’m genuinely not sure what outcomes are possible now.
  19. In a few months the talk about relegation and reconstruction is going to look about silly. There’s not going to be enough clubs to fill each league.
  20. Very difficult to think about buying a season ticket right now. I’ll renew regardless of whether it’s champ or league 1. But the big question is whether there will be fans at Firhill this side of Christmas. No idea what we’re paying for.
  21. I wonder how many games we could have had in hand, with the same decision taken. We could’ve been 1 point off the bottom with two or three games in hand and they’d still have sent us down.
  22. Imagine having to issue a clarification statement a couple of hours later. Absolutely hopeless.
