  1. Are the "regionialised" pots released at some point today?
  2. You could probably do a similar bet with your club and Delboy.
  3. https://www.sundaypost.com/fp/exclusive-angelo-alessio-says-hed-jump-at-the-chance-to-be-new-kilmarnock-boss/ Angelo Alessio, the bookies’ favourite to be named new Kilmarnock boss, last night said he would jump at the chance to succeed Steve Clarke at Rugby Park. The Italian, who spent two years working under Antonio Conte at Stamford Bridge – quitting when his countryman was sacked in 2018 – is keen to manage in his own right, and has been searching for a job in the UK. Heading a list that includes Davie Moyes, Roberto Di Matteo, Simon Grayson and Gianluca Conte, brother of Antonio, he is as short as 3/10-on with leading bookmaker, Paddy Power. “I am aware of the interest in Kilmarnock and I am very pleased about it,” said the 54-year-old. “It would be great for me to become their manager. “At the moment, however, I can’t really say anything else because I know there are negotiations going on. “Since my time at Chelsea, I have followed Scottish football a lot and studied it carefully. I would really like to have this experience.” Massimo Donati, an Italian well-known to fans here from his time playing for Celtic and Hamilton Accies, believes Alessio would be a success at Rugby Park. “Steve Clarke did a really excellent job as manager of Kilmarnock,” he said. “The team improved a lot under his charge, and to finish third in the table was a fantastic result. “But Angelo Alessio is also certainly a highly-trained coach, one who would bring the Italian mentality to Scotland. “I think that having been an assistant to Antonio Conte at Chelsea, where they won the 2016-17 title together, he would certainly be able to work in a highly-professional way. “He would need probably to adapt a bit because the Scottish Premiership is a different environment to that of the English Premier League. “But I am sure he has all the credentials to do well, should they give him the opportunity.”
  4. Glad someone else knows this mastapiece too.
  5. Yeah, he works best playing in a 2 up top. Don't think it's a coincidence that his goal return from open play dried up after G Stew left for Aberdeen in January, even though he was injured for most of February if I remember correctly. But even still..
  6. I think in the article it's merely a mix of people who have signalled interest in the press beforehand, specifically McCann and McCoist, and others such as Holt and Dyer that are mentioned from previous connections to the club in some way. Just trying to make news off older stories. Also noticed that on twitter the Killie Trust chairman has called it out as bs, apparently there wasn't even a board meeting today.
  7. Excellent stuff. Probably already been mentioned in the thread but Bowie and the board deserve thanks for only limiting them to one stand- genuinely felt like an actual home game for us and it seemed a bigger boost for the team without having their fans up the other end shouting for decisions too.
  8. Cheers to the st murn bois for their kind words. Hoping you can get to 10th tomorrow.
  9. Gollum refereeing this game after several months without taking charge of a game involving Rangers. Huh.
  10. Also why wasn’t that boy agyepong not starting? He was incredible when he came on, easily best player in the hibs 11 today.
  11. Seems like Heckys true colours are showing after a couple of poor results. Wanting to knock an officials teeth out one game, spouting abusive language at a player another game. Just joking guys, hope the hibs boys beat the sheep next week. Overall I think we deserved the points and probably should’ve won by more considering Brophys chance clear on goal and another involving wee Taylor.
