  1. I have to say that I like Gary Oliver. I think he is a good player but he lacks confidence in himself at times possibly. I think if anyone scores for us today it will be him... Playing against his former club and all that.
  2. Just realised I sound like Les Dennis on family fortunes... Our survey said!
  3. In a survey of wages for footballers in the Premier league on the BBC website Livingston were the lowest at 32K. If you factor in that the average wage in the UK is 25K it is clear why Queens and other clubs of our size are having difficulty with recruitment.
  4. Interesting that Gary Holt at Livvy is saying in the Sun Print edition that he is having difficulty getting part time players to sign for them because they are earning more in PT football with a job than they would with Livingston. Similar issue mentioned here regarding Queens.
  5. It really is feeling like that now isn't it. I have a feeling of impending doom. Absolutely gutted how this season has gone.
  6. The league table looks a lot worse for us tonight. We are detached from the top 7 now
  7. If you like a macaroni pie try one next time you are at Palmerston. They are superb!
  8. You'll have to go full time if you go up through the play offs!
  9. To think a few years back Jim Fowler was sacked for us being in 7th place. Nowadays he would be a hero for getting us to such lofty heights
  10. I just don't know where we go from here or where the next point will come from. At least last season we had the pleasure of watching the record breaking goals tally for Dobbs and a couple of great results in the league against Ayr and Ross County. What happens next...? I know the obvious answer...
  11. I would have Semple on centre half and Wilson midfield
  12. Interesting reading Jim Goodwin's comments about Kirk Broadfoot ' Not only are we losing a very experienced, good central defender, but I’m also strengthening one of our opponents who we are trying to compete with. I could probably have dug my heels in and made him stay but the last thing I want is people that don’t want to be there. I certainly can’t afford to have an experienced player in the dressing room who is not going to be in the right frame of mind." Very similar thinking and situation to Brownie possibly.
  13. Gary Harkins deserted us mid season last year after allegedly refusing to play up front for Gary Naysmith. No thanks for me...
  14. Why so? What is the history between the two clubs?
  15. I have always had a great away day at Ayr with friendly fans and staff. Results not always as good though and a nice drive up in the car and a drink at the bowling club!
  16. It is such a shame the way we played against Patrick Thistle on the last game of the season. Not just because we ended up in the play offs but we got a really good home support that day and people answered the rallying call. I don't think any of them have been seen since. That was such an opportunity missed.
  17. I think it does make a difference. It shows the ambition of the club and the direction we are going in. A lot of supporters would be disheartened going part time and might find something else to do on a Saturday
