I see the ever reliable Daily Record are suggesting that Hibs are looking at El Bak, which wouldn't surprise me as i am sure they will be one of many clubs who are looking at him due to his sensational start to the season. Personally i am hoping that the board are currently working on an extension to his contract right now. Selling him for a stupid fee like £50k for example wouldn't benefit us. We need to get out of this league and i would rather keep him, help us get promoted and let him go for a free than sell him for a minuscule amount. If clubs are serious about wanting him, they would need to offer a six figure sum.

We missed out on Davidson to Raith, yet we beat them to Cardle. I reckon we got the better deal.

He's a decent player, would give us something different from our other forwards as he's a threat in the air. Not a long-term option by any means when you look at the time he has spent at clubs in his career, yet would definitely do a job for this season.

Cena's surely going to drop the US Title since it looks like he's facing Rollins at Summerslam. Seth will probably cost him it during one of his open challenges. Still think Owens should have won at Battleground though.

Hibs deserved the win, although i thought we competed well enough considering we played with ten men for most of the game. Could see the difference Cardle made despite him coming on late into the game. Also thought El Bak had a very good game, rightly stands as our first choice striker. Up to the others to decide who gets to partner him. Not sure whether Hooper will get a deal, hard to judge him yet he looks like he can provide a physical element that the others are lacking.

Impressed by Murdoch, dealt with everything, just beaten by an absolute peach. Richards Everton looks like he's going to be a key player. Really need some cover at wing back especially since we need to put Geggan in at left back.

I'm just chuffed that we might actually play with proper wingers and no longer stick central midfielders out wide. Remarkable progress.

Good to see Cardle has signed, was a decent player for us so hopefully he can replicate that form once more. Have no idea who will be first choice out of Murdoch and Hutton. Whatever happened to McMillan, did he get a ban from football?
