  1. Which just goes to show that this was a ridiculous and pointless restriction introduced by a FM who fails to understand many of the impacts of her governments decisions.
  2. I think that says more about the people involved rather than the concept of vaccine passports. Like most of the issues with Covid-19, if people did what they are supposed to do, we would get through this situation much quicker and safer.
  3. Not a f***ING chance this will happen but good to see P&Bs equivalent of Scrooge (and ICTs) is alive and well
  4. Either way, it is still incredibly poor refereeing by Madden. He has to be sure before issuing a card but in your scenario he has guessed at what happened. Absolutely incredible but happening more and more with the poor referees we have to endure in Scotland.
  5. Only seen the incident once but am still of the opinion that if Clancy was unsighted, it was poor positioning on his part. We can both agree that he is a dreadful referee on a par with John Beaton and Bobby Madden.
  6. If Clancy was unsighted, that is pretty poor positioning from him. The fact that he didn't even consult the linesman only compounds the poor refereeing. Given the penalties awarded for Hibs in recent days, it really does highlight the poor refereeing standards we have in Scotland.
  7. Is there any update on the arbitration process?.
  8. Taking Dave Cormack out of the equation for a moment, where is the explanation from Leitch, and the Scottish government, on why the 300 fan limit is still being applied in Tier 1 areas. Numerous test events held, with no issues as far as I know yet still the arbitrary limit of 300 is applied. In the Highlands, cases are still low, generally single figures daily but still no more than 300 at a match while supermarkets and shopping centres packed to the gunnels. Cynical answer would be that everything is being restricted to "protect" Christmas where the government knows a further spike in cases will follow but hey, that's better than allowing fans to watch a match, in a Tier 1 area, in any great numbers. As for Cormack, for me, he hit the nail on the head about Jason Leitch. He seems all too willing to appear with those other clowns on Off the Ball than seriously try to look at accommodating fans attending football matches.
  9. Social distancing a new concept for these idiots or maybe they cannot count up to two.
  10. Await Jason Leitch's latest nonsensical response on why a Tier 1 area with daily Covid infections in single figures for most of the last month, can still only have 300 fans at games.
  11. If it's a judgement call, then say so and provide the evidence that informs that judgement. I haven't seen any, apologies if I have missed it, to back this up. If no evidence, why can't clubs in Tier 1 areas, which mine is be allowed more fans but still in a safe socially distanced manner. No such limits appear to have been issued to large shops or pubs.
  12. Well how about the Scottish government explaining their rationale for allowing only 300 fans. Not seen any evidence provided by them for this limit and doubt that clown, Jason Leitch, has any to back this up. We had 100 people attend an indoor concert in Inverness last weekend yet only 300 fans entitled to attend ICTs game. The Scottish government quite happy to recognise the good football does for communities when the national team qualified for the Euros but then totally ignore the game to provide help financially when it's so desperately needed.
  13. Time for McInnes to approach the game by playing to Aberdeen's strengths, not Celtic's for a change. He won't though and will change his tactics and team and get beaten.
  14. No, because they don't care about Scottish football apart from the old firm as evidenced by their poor presentation of our game over many years.
  15. Although wearing a mask on public transport is a legal requirement or is Connelly too thick to understand that??
  16. Another reason why the SPFL shouldn't have sold the rights to Sky perhaps??.
  17. Why not when he behaves no better than an idiot doing the beckoning of a government who care nothing about football.
  18. Disciplinary matters are always confidential and rightly so. If you were disciplined at work, would you want everyone to know the outcome. The vilification of th5 Aberdeen players has to cease and people's anger directed at the government who want to be seen being tough with someone. This has been made so political by the SNP.
  19. By the way, it was the same Professor Leitch who said schools wouldn't close then to have them closed days later and also state the old form game could go ahead on a Thursday only to cancel the next day. He may like to portray himself as an expert but he has made plenty mistakes on this as well.
  20. Since when has Scottish football been the prime driver of this virus as the Government appears to want us to believe. The Aberdeen players made a mistake going to the bar but was this a malicious act or has it been proven that this has spread the virus in Aberdeen. It is safe to assume that the 4 household rule is frequently broken in pubs or, as someone a few doors up from me, who decided to have a party on Saturday with over 20 people did as well. Much more chance of these people spreading the virus than the Aberdeen players. With regard to the Celtic incident, this is possibly the more serious of the two incidents. Again however, aren't the Government meant to do checks on the people who should be self isolating after returning from these countries but hey, let's not look at any Government failings when football can be the whipping boy. Opening up the pubs has caused the current problems with the virus, not football.
