I'm glad they have to face the music. I won't revel in it though. It truly is a harsh reality than my club are just as at risk. Brechin were always one of the PT teams other clubs envied. That being said I don't fear going down. As long as the club is there, you can get to the games, get a pint, that's the most important thing.

Not a bad post. My retort would be though who are we to decide what is worse and what could affect mental health. For all we know a player may have been subject to abuse as a child and the abusive parent called him a "w*nker" constantly through the abuse. An extreme example but entirely possible. I understand in this circumstance we know about the player in questions MH as he has been public about it.

Spot on this. The problem in this case is that people have tunnel vision regards to Tiffoneys sexual offence so they couldn't care less what was said to him if in fact it was along these lines. Could be anything though, the consensus seems to be for example that if cox or any player calls another player say fat for 90mins n he comes back with something MH related then he's the wrong un. Hopefully if nothing else this sorry saga brings some sort of reform n change to our game regarding such things.

Could you explain why you think there is victim blaming? Is it the fact a few people have said cox goes out his way to cause trouble? Well that's a fact. It doesn't condone having vile things said to him regarding his mental health. It does though for me personally give some sort of strange understanding as to why someone would maybe flip and say something terrible, doesn't make it right but it will happen. I and probably half the population have suffered with mental health. I don't however go out my way to antagonize people and hurt them. He does and if you keep doing that you will encounter some horrible people who will attack you personally if they have ammo to use. It is not right, let's be clear. IT IS NOT RIGHT. The situations I have described are totally separate from some weapon going out their way to say vile things to people, these people are a dreg on society.

Maybe the fella with the glasses could play a part in getting the matter resolved. Seems to be defending Cox for receiving the yellow card so has hopefully heard what's happened.

A fair point. I do also note though that the booking happened on 29 minutes yet he waited till HT to walk out. He had 15 minutes to tell his team/managers what happened as they have said they would have walked off the park. There are a lot of anomalies that don't add up and really the only way to get to the bottom of it is if a witness or witnesses step forward, if there are any.

He did however bite a mans ear off but there was no cctv footage so was his word v the other guys word about who started it so neither were charged. Again word v word. Strange that eh.

I do dislike Cox as a player & certainly doesn't seem a nice guy outside football either. No different to everyone's view that tiffoney is a "horrible guy" stated many times on this thread. I have also said he is a loathsome individual on this thread. But because I have also gave my view on Cox the undeniable "victim" then that is wrong.

Overall tone. Giving a balanced view is now classed as an undesirable tone. Deary me.

I 100% would regardless of team. Human beings baying for blood based on one mans allegation is mind blowing. I don't believe one or the other. "Why would he make it up and retire" wouldn't wash in court but it appears that is the stance everyone is taking, again mind blowing. It needs investigated, it's getting investigated & hopefully the truth comes out.

He is employed though. We have a game left. As Neilly says irrelevant how long his contract is.

Tiffoney has released a statement denying it so as it stands it's alleged. Do you understand that yes? One mans word doesn't make it so, just like tiffoney's denial doesn't make it false Simple stuff really.

An opinion I have always held of him since I first encountered him playing against my team. He is a dangerous player & person. That has nothing to do with what's happened though.

We shall see. I wish he would as he is an animal but he shouldn't need to due to this scenario & I suspect he will turn up somewhere.
