Very proud of the team. As expected rode our luck at times but bar 1 or 2 incidents genuinely felt pretty comfy Mclaughlin, Marsh, A Munro, Buzz Smith Fantastic. The goal was absolute scenes. Gutted to have ran out of steam but what an effort. Concerned about Mcilduff, playing much better opposition than we will normally face but just not assured at all.

I actually think we are not far away from having a squad that can challenge now. More so because I don't think any other team in the league is much cop. It's maybe not quite went how we expected but it's looking a lot better than it did a few weeks ago. I was critical of the McLaughlin signing but only due to the fact we had in our mind this extra money etc he will do fine in the squad and I'm glad to have him.

Aye that's what was happening. Making a point. Roaster.

Beat Formartine Utd 4-1 in a closed door game today. I only seen second half. It was 1-0 warriors at HT. Kieran Anderson (remember him) scoring. He has bulked up a lot and is now an out and out striker. He looked decent for the 10-15 mins I seen him. We looked good but the opposition were not great. Marky Munro looked good in centre mid. Cook was left back and did ok and mclaughlin was centre half and strolled it. New boy Liam Scullion is absolutely rapid, should do a good job in league 2. Hopkirk scored the second and it was an absolute peach. Killed ball dead from quite a height, lobbed the goalie from just inside the 18 yard box. Watters and Tiwi Daramola completed the scoring with nice finishes after pouncing on defensive mistakes. McGuigan didn't look too sharp was a slight concern but still pre season. Also not sure if Big Munro got a niggle, looked like it and was subbed at HT. Fingers crossed not.

East Fife in for Daniel Church. A left back from Celtic. Will be on loan. Edited to add - It's a done deal

Very embarrassing from McKernons friend/girlfriend/family member/eleets13 He looks overweight when I seen him v EK. The group of 5 I was with said the exact same thing. The other posters on here also have noticed this. He will be a good player for us I think, but it's very unusual to see a player look as visibly overweight as he did. Some players are naturally stocky but this isn't that. Few weeks though and i'm sure he will be in top nick.

Don't wanna get too negative until the competitive stuff starts, however it doesn't appear we have signed any player we actually wanted, maybe O'Neil. Even Hopkirk who on paper looks the "star" signing was on that released player list all summer. It appears we are now just flinging together what we can rather than what we want and that's not a good position at all.

That was hard to watch. Can only really echo what has been said. The trialist's were by and large awful, the french LB was comfy on the ball & getting forward. The right winger had a couple of moments in the 2nd half but still not up to standard probably. The goalie, well am sorry but our fears were realised, thank f**k Smith is here. Massive gaps to fill. Halleran looked good & Andy Munro will be a steady captain.

The only players that will be on sub £100 pw will be youngsters and Kyle Marley.

Salim Koudier Aissa is not a "big" striker at all. Banged them in in juniors and players can improve but he was way off it last time in seniors and i doubt Kilsyth Rangers has brought him on greatly
