"Decent on the ball" is not how I'd describe him.

I've never been angrier than when we played County and the ball was going out for a goal kick. Jules stopped it on the line, passed it straight to a County player who squared it into the box for an easy tap in.

There's no doubt in my mind that Jules is one of the worst players ever to play for us. How he keeps getting contracts in England is a complete mystery.

Yes, one of those moments you never forget...like that Dundee United player (whose name escapes me but also played poorly for us) picking the baw up during play

Chicken pakora is too heavy as a starter before a curry, vegetable pakora is the baseline measure but mushroom pakora is a fine lighter snack.

There are probably bits of Lanarkshire as described, I don’t know where the Polworths chose to live.

Aye even on the meager wages that we offer I highly doubt that Polworth and his dafty are living in Hillhoose or such like.

Everyone picking Gallagher. I feel that starting Gallagher when he's barely kicked a ball since Christmas would be madness. Even more so if the rumours about refusing to play for Motherwell  are true.

I reckon Hanley is nailed on to start regardless.

The rumours are untrue...however there is no way I'd start him in this game due to his inactivity

I watched Harvie on BBC earlier, brilliant brilliant brilliant. He said the Sturgeon part of matter is now finished, the Tory's are disgraceful hypocrites (cited Patel) and stated not one unionist party has any vision for Scotland. That's me decided.
    SNP/Green in May.

Listened to him on the radio on the way home from work...he was outstanding and absolutely nailed it. I've not actually cheered to the radio, probably since the mid 90s, and it felt quite good.

    1. indeed, he would

    2. simply because you don't rate him.

    3. simple in your mind.

There seems to be a trend that some folks need to see a player sign for a team they consider a "top" team before conceding he is good enough. Without that yardstick some folks can't seem to spot a decent player.

As a Motherwell fan, I do rate Gallagher but I know he isnt a top level English Championship player

  6. When discussing two players I always look at it this way;

Would Hanley start every week for Motherwell? Aye undoubtedly...

Would Gallagher start every week for Norwich? Highly unfuckinglikely

Hanley is a far superior player to Gallagher, it's that simple.

Reminds me of the bus down to Llanelli that left Daniels. Minibus of some sorts and nae toilet.

Someone brought one of those water at work urn hings and that was passed around at the back of the bus and tipped out every so often.

The midnight departure from Daniels and then the driver deciding to go the route right down through Wales made for some experience.

Our bus left the joker at a similar time...my abiding memory is two guys being that wasted prior to the bus leaving, that one got left in the pub and the other pished himself and sat all the way to Wales with pishy jeans on.

The European adventures to Nancy, Odense, Llanelli and Bucharest were outstanding...and never straightforward

    Plane ticket to Hampden???? :)

Stephen O'Donnell has to be the most fortunate player in the squad. Don't get me wrong, I like his effort and he has taken his chance that came about due to circumstances but I think he looks out of his depth at times.

He looks out of his depth at Fir Park
