  1. Maybe Glass was told to stop hogging the ball and pass more often and got confused
  2. I would say it was a definite hand ball as I saw it clearly. Stirling will climb the league I’m sure, they seemed well drilled but in the end Cove deserved the spoils without ever really playing as well as they usually do. Still think Martin Scott has more to offer than the last ten minutes he’s getting. I thought Glass was a bit quieter today definitely a player for the future but would Dundee Utd sitting top of the league want him back just yet??
  3. Edinburgh 1 Elgin 1 QP 1 Brechin 1 Annan 1 Cowden 2 Cove 2 Stirling 0 Albion 1 Stenny 1
  4. You're all correct this has to be the coldest ground in the world at least 6 layers needed in July ! Although if you stand like penguins in the 'bus shelters' (hold 110) you might survive...just
  5. Welcome to Stirling A. Fans Zone at the ground also welcomes away fans Grounds not as grand as Stirling’s and the views don’t compare either. Sure it’ll be a decent game though.
  6. Hey never mind that take a look at the web sites story today about Fergie saying that Cove had the best hospitality all beit he was talking back in 1992!!
  7. It was the youngsters that were playing with a couple of fringe players who don't get game time, not the team that humped beath on Saturday
  8. And we all know how good a cup side Hibs are after this weekend
  9. Finally someone agrees with me for the record I never join in that song we’re not even close to the highlands I suspect it’s a throw back to the highland league!
  10. I wouldn’t say Glass is fantastic he’s got potential but quite often loses the ball because he’s hell bent on having a pop at goal, which is fine if not a bit predictable. A fantastic player would either score from his type of playing or have the savvy to pass it at the right time work in progress ?
  11. Agree with that he really needs to learn how to pass or ta least hit the ball first I’d have liked to see Martin Scott get a game earlier as he seems to have a good head for the game. Cowdenbeath played pretty well though thought their keeper was decent pulled off at least two top drawer saves.
  12. No I’ve not out of order totally absolutely no need for that, never heard about the incident until now.
  13. I would agree with your comments and for the life of me wouldn’t know why a team wouldn’t engage post match. If there was vandalism by players the club should be billed accordingly but wanted to make the point about Cove fans in general and not the team.
  14. Has to be the most ill informed comment I’ve read, say what you like about the team or management but the fans are a decent bunch who’ve supported their team just like any other on here ... vandalism... that’s slanderous and out of order. With regards hated in every league you’ll get the usual teams who win and this may promote what ... jealousy, does anyone think that Auchinleck, Man City, Celtic, (or whoever)take kindly to losing? No because they set the bar high and Cove in their own small way are doing the same. Do you think Cowdenbeath take losing happily ? Sitting proudly 2nd in the league really...
  15. Yawn..... move on we have. An Good Luck Stenhousemuir tonight !
  16. Muzza obviously happy being the big fish in the small pond
  17. £12 admission at Cove which is about average, and just about pays for Fyvie's lunch
  18. 65% possession today beaten by a team from the first division. 22 points : would we have taken that before a ball was kicked - Yes not a bad first 9 games in any league. We’re the new boys, we also have no divine right to win. Well done to Stenhousemuir there will be many more difficult games, and points lost COYCR !
  19. Whatever as long as if Masson is on the bench he doesn’t throw the toys from the pram like some of the players. In a competitive squad they need to learn to fight for their place and learn from the experience it’ll be a long winter they’ll all get their chances but with a player of Aird’s pedigree coming on and scoring a screamer my guess would be he’ll be starting on Saturday.
  20. After arduous away trips in the challenge cup ( most particularly Wales ) a home tie would be nice, hopefully not Auchinleck love the comments of a derby match against Elgin ( 60 miles )
