  1. LMAO this guy man Not only doesn’t he go with stats He doesn’t go to many games `Yet can tell you how much McGlynn likes McKenna coz he met McKenna in a pub one night Good player for sure is MM no denying that, but this they like each other a lot, is acting out one of your weird fantasy’s on here.
  2. He makes a lot up in his own head this fella. He can tell the " level " of a player and what leagues he/they can perform in etc. Meet our resident, Mr Know it all
  3. Is that the same Donnelly, who only played 1 game for us last season? Overused is a strange thing to say, given that he spent most of the season at Alloa. Also, the same guy whos just come back after being injured for the past 8 months. Same guy who plays centre midfield for Alloa? I know he was used as a lone striker, or out on the left wing with us. Yes he played a big part in the so called big season of nearly being promoted, hard to say he was part of this relegation given he has been away for pretty much two years. Think his second last game was that night in Kilmarnock, so how he is at fault for anything is odd. As for Hilson, he has spent all of this season at Stirling Albion, and again, it is pretty difficult to say that he can take any blame for the relegation, as when these guys played for the club, we were not relegated. I know you always had a little hard on for either of those guys, whether they were on the park or not, they were blamed, i seemed to recall you mouthing off about one of them, even though they were an unused sub haha Whether they have found their level or not, or whether you understand whats going on in depth with their careers, they will be in the same league as us next year, so this whole " were on another level " when we are pretty much down seems very bizzare statement to make. Whether you liked or rated those guys, or anyone else is down to your personal preference, but blaming folks who are not even players at the club in the season we went down is clutching at straws really. Next up Todd Lumsden will somehow be to blame
  4. Awww, another sore loser who can't take someone else's opinion. Its weird how the oddballs come out in force when things are all going wrong, people ranting like they own the club, people calling directors criminals, people calling out our own players. I'm glad as supporters, that the odd behaviour is in the minority, but for the odd few on here, its great entertainment. What was it i said previously that you didnt like? 1. DC was a terrible manager and that he wouldnt change his tactics? ( I was right ) 2. Was it the time i said there was bother in the dressing room, and 4-5 signed players left, i was called out and told there was no rift and that i was " havering " ( think again i was proven right ) 3. Was it the time i said Noubles mates will not do, Dick said he was using Nouble and his contacts from down south to find players, this was in one of the local papers. ( I was right again all were pish and all gone now ) Maybe its the truth you dont like. Whether i was right or wrong, people are allowed an opinion, and you will just have to suck it up if it doesnt fit with yours. But i think even a dummy like you would be able to tell, one of us was giving out the info, and one of us havers on here, shame your to thick to realise.
  5. Many times do you want to repeat yourself ya diddy. You would think you were funding the whole club, and not someone who pays a few hundred quid for a season tickets the way you whine.
  6. Agree with everything you say 100%, what baffled me is when we went on our run to nearly being promoted, all signings were pretty much from league 1/2, Dicks initial successes with the club, is when he was grabbing guys from down the leagues, almost all of the team he put together in the first 4-5 years were players from those leagues and it worked well. Not sure why he changed that approach, i know more cash came in etc, but it was working very well.
  7. You are 100% right But then no-one will loan us any players if we want to be arseholes about it and we will sit bottom of the league, if there was ever a childish response it was this from Simon. We can offer game time and experience to up and coming players from other clubs, why would be ever want to sit and say, what you going to do if we dont play them.
  8. What else can someone say, Car Park at Asda in Toryglen and enjoy your walk, and lets hope you don’t have plantar faciatis . Maybe Cathcart road, in any given legal parking space, and you can get a steak pie from the best chippy? Or if your a lazy geezer as your question would suggest, right in the car park, oot side the main stand, row seven, space 14, just reserved for you, courtesy of the pie and bovril booking system
  9. ahhh 1320 you stick to wanting your team relegated so you can enjoy your Saturdays you big Arbroath fan that ye are.
  10. if i wanted to be like you, id be calling you out all day every day on the drivel that comes out your mouth
  11. Clown, how do you know what rab " will be going off "
  12. All you do is talk shite 1320 constantly, " ohhhh i dont care if were relegated i just want to enjoy a game " gee yourself peace. moan, groan and whine , think your opinion carries any weight crabbit wee fan, who doesnt like anyone elses opinion, you know he was spat on, stop trying to make out hes lying
  13. Ave spoke to Hammy, someone did do a big dirty groger on his reebok jacket A wasnt a big DC fan, but some of our fans need put on a leash, i bet it was someone from Pie and Bovril who done it, they were calling him a fat bas and all that too, and i swear the guy shouting ya fat bas has had more cholesterol than the whole of the spartans crowd put together.
  14. 1. Its not really crazy and wild is it? 2. You most definitely have to look at the physio, type of training and amount of training, noone is blaming the new management, the old management did not train well at all. We didnt have a physio, id assume no other real specialists in injury rehab or prevention, but im the crazy and wild one for suggesting this, even though its all true. 3. Last season this intensity and work ethic nearly took us down, so what's your point? More of the same? if your referring to the 1st half of the 21/22 season, sadly that was 2.5 years ago, we have spent that last 2.5 years being pumped on a regular basis. And you are happy for that to continue, because we are run professionally ( and im crazy and wild ) 4. The point about St Johnstone isnt nonsense though is it? If your in the know, go and ask anyone how many times we have played St Johnstone over the last few seasons in bounce games. You wont though will you? But just to clear things up, given we train in perth, and St Johnstone are from perth, it would make perfect sense for that to be a viable bounce game which is why St Johnstone regularly play us in bouce games. Im not saying its the only team, but it has been regular. 5. No-one said we are a two bob outfit at all, we are playing in a league full of full time teams, and our training has been poor under DC hence why people will speculate that this may have played a part in the injury crisis. Im sure the board and folks at the club are trying to run the club within their means, and budgets and doing all they can be as professional as possible. But i think only one of us is crazy and wild, and its no me.
  15. Training under the previous management was awful even for a part time team, at best an hour on the park and little to no real training, just shape work and shooting. Trying to compete with full times has always been a struggle, as you can imagine, DC, Pink and Big Rab are not exactly building up peoples fitness levels etc. No real injury prevention happens, and recently advertised for a Physio on Instagram, which is laughable. Coupled with the fact the the previous management didnt understand squad rotation, keeping players match fit and that type of thing, various people left with no minutes for 6 weeks at a time, to me it seems like mismanagement on all of the above has caused all of these problems. But our own fans really do think its down to ( bad luck ) Were a part time club, previous regime treated it as such and were always going to struggle fitness-wise. We dont have a reserve team or anything to keep bodies fit, and play St Johnstone in about 8 bounce games per season to try and get minutes in legs now and then, but its a bit of a farce in all honesty .
  16. A jobber who has had one job? Got to make the assumption that you simply wanted to use that word eh.
  17. Given where we came from and the players we have, its fair to say the majority are league 1/2 standard. So loan the boy out for 2-3 seasons to get those appearances you suggest, and he might come back a championship player lol So because someone is 22, they need to go to league 1/2 play 100 games to get up to the Championship standard Whilst i get the theory ( kind of ) we dont have time to wait around for 3 years for someone to come good.
  18. League table would suggest otherwise eh Funny how little weasels like you hate on certain players, even after they are long gone. As I stated, neither Donnelly or Hilton played with an Arbroath team, rooted to the bottom of the table. Jay Bird is a good player, as is Hylton both have played well. But joint second bottom goalscorers as a team in the league, and firmly planted at the bottom of the table, I can’t see how you can argue that Donnelly or Hilsonplayed in a team rooted to the bottom of the table. Your argument is a little flawed, you will be the same type of fan, who regularly complained that Scott Stewart was never a left back, its not like he asked to play there but he’s done well. By the same way that 5ft 4 Dale Hilson was never a Lone striker going to hold the ball up and win Ariel duels. The same way the midfielder or no 10 Donnelly who was repeatedly played as a target man when it wasn’t his game. Next you will complain that an electrician is a shite plumber “ at this level “ There’s one dud, and its you
  19. Corfe Is one thing ``but is that the same `Hilson and Donnelly, who played for Arbroath and were never sat at the bottom of the table? Better than the duds we have
  20. Clashy Your posts are fucking drivel Last year after one win, you said we would all eat humble pie when we won at Dundee in feb, regarding Dick Campbell, he’s long gone and you backed him at the time, guy has failed us in the last few years. After one win the other week, you have said fringe players are great and one or two more signings and we will have a great squad, were rock bottom and that cannot be denied. Its all good and well supporting your team, but the absolute drivel you talk about, does literally run out your mouth. We are a fucking gang at present
  21. Think we are all safe in the knowledge that, not playing well for Arbroath isn’t solely based on someone being a bad player, more down to terrible management, poor tactics which in turn left us in our current predicament. Says more about the management style than the players who come in. It’s no wonder we sit with no bench players, doesn’t take brains of Britain to see why people may be reluctant to loan to Arbroath. Mon up to Arbroath, either sit on the bench of chase shadows all day long and taking a pumping weekly ain’t exactly good for the youth of today.
  22. Was truely awful, Noubles mates, ill still never get over DC saying in the paper he was using Nouble and his knowledge of the English lower leagues. Glad that’s over with
  23. Josh Campbell is a bad example why? Because it doesnt suit your opinion? He didnt do anything, as he wasnt given a chance to do so, do you think loan players are picked like some kind of pick n mix? One might be good and one might be rotten. Id make the assumption Hibs know Josh well, they know his strengths and weaknesses, and this is then given to DC or any other manager, and they can agree whether they are a good fit for the team and style of play etc, DC was clearly just taking bodies, not giving a shit about their skills or trying to get the best out of them, and leaves them on a bench. There is a reason DC is now jobless, he struggles to get the best oout of his players and team, he got fired for it, so the proofs in the pudding. Noone can be sat on a bench for 8 weeks at a time, then thrown in because of injuries and expect to be a one hit wonder. But lets agree to your narative, Josh is a poor example ok Your not telling me, of all the players we have had over DC's time in charge who havent performed are bad players? Scott Allan ( clearly doesnt suit DC's tactics ) Neymars stunt double, didntt suit it Bobby Linn didnt fit in Seems that creative players dont fit in, and i think its quite clear that DC wouldnt change to utilise a lot of these people, he wanted to stick by the hoofball tactic and struggled. And to add to the mix players from the 9th tier on trial and handing out contracts, didnt work well either between that, and leaving anyone with any creativity on your bench, it was never a recipe for success.
  24. Of course they don’t like DC style of play, he makes a complete arse of it time and time again. Not playing folks, playing them in the wrong positions, this is on top of the most bizarre tactics that don’t work, by passing the midfield with endless balls up top. Mason Hancock, a Centre Half, was put out left wing in his first game Josh Campbell ( left to rot on the bench ) A manager will want the loanee to get game time and experience, not driving up to Arbroath on game day to sit on a bench, we as well sat on a bench in the SPL than sat there. No one in their right mind would send anyone with any potential to Arbroath to improve their experience or game time the way we have played over the last 18 months.
