Cheers. Can’t see it being reported anywhere. Although I’m not on Twitter…

We’re back

Who’s this please? Can’t find anything anywhere.

Dundee will go down. Saints will beat Arbroath in the playoffs.

I was unable to go last night but sounds like I didn’t miss anything.
If he’s going to persist with the 3 centre half and 2 wing back thing he needs to make the wing backs attacking players. They need to be wingers who can beat players and get crosses in, rather than full backs.
Either that or he needs to abandon it, go 4 at the back and use the extra man as a forward going player.
To me it’s that simple.
Rooney coming back might help because he can be counted as an attacking threat on the right although not a winger. Any word on when/if he’ll be back?

Callum saying another one or two to come in. If he’d just change the system to play to the players strengths and we get a result on Wednesday it’ll hopefully change everyone’s perspective.
Personally I really hope Callum gets us out of this because if he doesn’t, we go down and he is fired I feel it will taint the amazing achievements of last season in folk’s memories forever which is just very sad really.

It's not £2m upfront.
Neither was McCann. The way I’ve read it is that we might end up with £1.75m eventually and United stand to make £2m eventually. So they’re getting more for this kid who’s never played. I just don’t get it.
Unless I’m completely wrong of course!

So I have a question having just seen a football headline.
How can Dundee United get £2m for a 17 year old who’s hardly ever played in the first team?
Meanwhile we couldn’t even get that for Ali McCann, an established full international player with more than a full season of top flight first team experience?

Came right out of it, went back in and it finally worked!

Away tickets have been greyed out the entire time for me. Refreshing constantly and nothing is changing. Nightmare.

Nicholson saying we still want one player in. Hallberg is apparently on Swedish clubs radars as well.If he’s right that might mean we bring in a midfielder and not another striker. Disappointing.
Sounds like we’re putting all our eggs in the Ciftci basket which as we all know it’s a gamble. And what if he gets injured? We’re back to the forwards who have been badly failing us all season.0 -
Who is Zak Rudden and what position does he play please? Oh and is he any good?

Signing shite players u26 is progress from signing shite players 30+, tbf.
I’d just like us to sign a few good footballers. I appreciate what you’re saying about age but someone like Greg Stewart would be a good move in terms of increasing the quality of football in my opinion.
I appreciate he’s no spring chicken and lacks pace but give me two or three midfield and attacking players in the Greg Stewart/Paul Sheerin mould who are talented footballers, over more guys like O’Halloran or Kane who can run fast or work hard but lack footballing ability.I await being shot down (we won’t pay for players like that / there’s no way players like that are available in January / I’m just wrong) but that’s my opinion.

Serious question, what's the script been with Cammy MacPherson?
I mean, a lot of St. Mirren fans were miffed he was allowed to leave. I personally wasn't bothered as I feel that he has 1 game in 4 where he's great and then 3 where he steams about the pitch looking like he can barely pass the ball 5 yards. Shows plenty of tenacity but it sometimes takes a bit more than that.
Has he shown much for St. Johnstone?
He’s done absolutely f**k all for us. If he has any footballing ability he’s doing a good job of not showing it.
I think what makes it worse is he looks like he thinks he’s supremely talented and the next David Beckham, taking all the set pieces etc. And he’ll receive the ball when there’s a simple pass on to get us moving, he’ll take an absolutely age to try and wind up a 40 yard Beckham-esque crossfield ball instead and mis-hit it. Because, well from what I’ve seen, he’s absolutely shite.
Take him back please!!

Good to see the officials sticking to the script, making sure to snuff out any possible way we might nick a goal here by giving Celtic absolutely every decision. Well done guys.

Feels like this game is being played at slow motion with Celtic still being a yard quicker than us all over the pitch. So so frustrating to watch from our point of view.

Has Davidson went with a 4-2-4 for the second half here?
Wild
3-4-3 or 5-2-3 however you wish to interpret it. Still 3 centre halves and 2 so called wing backs.

Yes a good show from Parish. James Brown is probably our only consistent defender.
Feel we need to get Liam Craig and Chris Kane on.
Crawford has to come of and go back to Bolton tomorrow.I wouldn’t even wait until tomorrow. Just send him home now.

This is just a gutless acceptance we've lost the game before it had even started.
100% agree with this. And it’s unacceptable really.

Ken! Feel sorry for Parish today though. He’s going to be conceding goals no matter how well he does!

That's harsh. Parish has pulled off a couple of very good saves today.
I was more trying to make the point that there’s more to it than losing two players.

I really enjoyed that. Great atmosphere amongst our lot and scenes at the end, feels like so long since we had a great away day and a win!
Not many changes to the team apart from maybe the attitude and togetherness. This time we win and we have all these other options with the new players we’ve signed. Suddenly things are looking up!
Hallberg looks absolute class btw.
