  1. I think Hart overall will go with fond memories for most Celtic fans.

If you actually look at it though, the majority of saves he makes are the routine ones, whilst also conceding what should be routine saves either at the first attempt or by palming it back into the danger zone.

His positioning for free kicks has always been suspect, and teams have started to realise they can take advantage of that.

On the flip side, he’s also made some big, big saves that arguably a keeper at his age isn’t expected to get to.

All the best, but we needed better.

Nah.  To much "heads gone" these days.  The older I get, the more ridiculous fans' reactions seem to me! Fair, enough, if a gap gets to the "mathematically impossible" stage, get the sharks out, but to demand that the manager gets the boot when still top of the league is just mental.

The “shark” and “sharkheid” patter is utterly tinpot. You can do better.

Thank god judging by the state of CP.

Seen better grass parks at the juniors this winter.

I'm worried about our players getting injured on that disgrace of a pitch.

An embarrassment to the top league in Scotland.

Aye it’s not great. It’ll probably need ripped up and started again at the start of the season.

I think this is the second time the grass has wound up with some sort of “infection” after a wet-cold-mild cycle of winters. It’s basically rotted in places.

  4. I imagine we’ll see pretty much the same lineup as against St. Mirren for this unless Taylor is fit.

AJ won’t make it, we’ve kept quite quiet in regards to his injury but can only assume at best we’ll see him post split, more likely next season.

CCV hopefully doesn’t get rushed back, we’ve done it twice now with the same result, him getting injured again.

Abada is on personal leave, hopefully he comes through it and gets back to doing the business on the pitch.

Idah and Kyogo being on the park at the same time has definitely made us look more dangerous but the defence is still entirely make shift and seems to be putting doubts into the midfield.

    Anyway, 2-1 or 3-1 Celtic.

Did this even happen? All I can remember is him getting a cheer when he was booked.

ETA: even Brown himself seemed surprised at the lack of reaction he got

    It did, aye.

Unless they were booing something else at the end when he went over to the Ayr fans.

^^^ Exactly ... the majority of the SPFL see no significant benefit from the OF, bar an occasional cup encounter once a decade or so.  Anyhow, I see the possible solutions as:

1 - The OF join the English leagues - not a cats chance in hell, the clubs down there don't want them and the English police certainly don't want them.

2 - The OF agree to disperse a significant % of their profits downwards across the SPFL clubs to attempt some kind of levelling up - aye, good luck with that one, hell will freeze over first.

3 - 40 of the 42 SPFL clubs decide to breakaway from the SPFL and form their own league leaving the OF behind to play themselves 38 times a season.  Aye, I know its a stupid thought - sadly in part because the Boards of many of our clubs are populated with directors with OF leanings one way or the other.

4 - For me, the only realistic hope - the European Super Leagues happen soon and the OF feck off to join Tier 3 or whatever and leave the rest of us behind.  The ESL will happen, simply because the major clubs (across Europe) are financial businesses first and sporting institutions second and they are primarily driven by greed and don't give a toss about the national game/culture.  Given the right financial incentives the OF won't give the rest of the SPFL a single backward glance on their way to the promised land.  I actually see this happening, but sadly now, it's unlikely to be within my own lifetime.  Bring it on.

Given Rangers don’t make profits #2 definitely won’t happen

  7. I can’t believe people are trying to argue that late challenges after the ball is played shouldn't be a foul.

Edit: Also, had Kyogo scored it would be a goal and a yellow card for a late challenge.

If you can’t understand either of these then you’re a bit thick and maybe football is too complicated for you.
