I've spoken to Sibbs a number of times and he does come across as a shy nervous person. If he's not sure about England he would be better staying. Money isn't everything if you aren't happy. Sign the contract Sibbs, stay and at the end of it if the Bairns aren't in the Premiership you will be a free agent and I'm sure you could get a move to a Scottish club.

Compensation will be a big issue here. I suppose the club maybe feel that he has been such a good servant and has stayed loyal when others have left and we as fans probably don't know if other clubs have been in for him before and he has decided to stay. One thing is definite it needs sorted sooner rather than later. Is it a two year contract that's on the table? If this Is the case I wonder if Sibbs would sign a years contract if offered in the knowledge that he can leave for nothing at the end of the season. If this could keep him I would offer it. I feel our chances of winning the league are better with him in the team and it's a risk worth taking allowing him to leave for free at the end of the season.

This will be the board protecting an asset. Whilst he's not our player we are still entitled to a decent sum for him if he signs for another club. Once he gets fit and plays in a trial for them who knows what will happen if Luton don't fancy him.

You would hope if he was still here in January and we looked like we could win the league he would stay and see the season out.

Even if he would stay for the season and help get us up, I would be quite happy for him to leave at the end for heehaw

I'm not clued up on these things. How would that work if a club came in for him and the window was closed. Would it mean at the end of his months contract he would be a free agent and could sign for who he liked. Who we still get a development fee.

If he stayed and signed the contract at this stage of the pre-season for me it would be up there with us signing Loy.

I like the fact that he always leathers it. Even if the keeper goes the right way there's a good chance of it going in as he gives it a right scud.

The incident with the throw in before the penalty was right in front of where we were sitting. I thought it was out but my mate thought it was still in so really difficult to tell. Big Lee's shot happened too fast to be able to say either way.

Have to say I agree with this. Kerr coming on slows the game down, bring Hippo on and push Craigen into the middle adds pace against a tiring defence. Early days though and don't want to be too critical as all in all it was a great team performance.

Hate to be critical as he has been a good servant but Kerr is looking like the auld boy who turns up at 5's every week and only gets a game to make up the numbers.

The link up play between Loy and Austin has been a joy. Good all round performance so far. Seems to be a decent attendance in also.
