A wins a win, couldn't give a flying f*ck who it's against or how we got it. Quite a few players to come back from injury and suspensions but I hope Houstie doesn't muck about the defence too much as they need to play together to gel. Big well done to all those who travelled. I would be happy with the team from Saturday but as well as replacing Aero for Luca I would bring Sibbs in for Kerr.

Have heard this also, Boness has an Academy and folk there say they go to the Academy. I'm not being cheeky or smart I have honestly very rarely heard folk referring to it as secondary. It may be an area thing.

Well I would say that I live in an area that is relatively working class and all our schools in Falkirk District are High Schools and we all refer to them as High Schools. I have however occasionally heard some posh folk refer to them as secondary school. Hence my theory.

The scum have got to beat us some time but if you could pick a game to get our season back on track and install some confidence in the team then this is it. Houstie has to pick the right team and forget any loyalty he has for certain players. I would much rather see us going there and having a right go at them from the start but I'm not confident Houstie will go that way.

Just watched Houston's after match interview. He doesn't think Mark Kerr was any worse than the rest of our midfield yesterday !!!!! Holy f**k Peter, he slows us down, never drives us forward, only passes backwards or sideways and regularly gives away possession. He's been a good servant but he's done. It's funny that he stated our play changed in the last 20/25 minutes and we attacked better. Could there be a reason for that. Also think that O'Hara showed in the brief time he got that he's worth a punt until Loy is 100% fit. I honestly think we have a decent squad that could push United for the title but we need our manager to change his tactics especially at home, have more faith in certain young players and stop being loyal to players that are done and should be used sparingly.

You are joking, Houston has lost the plot. Kerr played 120 minutes against Livie and it was 120 minutes too much. I think we have some decent players but Houston's negative tactics and his loyalty to some players is going to cost us big time.

Those two cup games in the Main Stand made me realise that the move to the South Stand when it opened was the right one. I quite like the idea muted by the poster about the St Mirren independence group that pay a monthly fee and part of this goes to looking at ways to enhance the match day experience and atmosphere. I've always though that banners along the back of the South Stand would look excellent. Could be a consideration for the bairns4life group rather than giving all the cash to the club for players.

I kind of agree. If we want to salvage any of the pre-season feel good factor we need not only a victory but a decent performance today. Mind you at this moment I would take a horrible game and a 1-0 victory.
