  1. Totally agree the buck falls with Houston. How long have we all been saying Taiwo and Kerr cannot play together yet he persists with it. How long have we all been saying Shepps just isnt good enough yet continually he gets the nod over O'Hara, how many chances is he going to get. The squad isn't balanced, we have too much cover in some positions and none on others. Houston got a budget and no matter what it was, he made the signings. Gasparatto at RB was the final straw. He is clearly not in the shape a player needs to be to play at this level and looked totally out of his depth. Shadwell takes a lot of stick on here, as does Olaf on One F with regards to some of their posts about Houston but after watching that last night it's looking more and more like they are spot on. Anyone want to buy a season ticket [emoji21]
  2. To be honest I would be happy if he just signed for the year and f*ck the fee. In my opinion and I know it's not everyone's we have more chance of going up with Sibbs in the squad. It's worth the risk of letting him leave for nothing at the end of next season if he would sign for a season.
  3. Think Jimmy is 85 and a wee bit confused by what we've been posting
  4. Of course there is rivalry, I work with a few Pars fans and it's a healthy rivalry, never nasty just good banter. I hate the cream buns more than rats and that's my major hatred.
  5. Hopefully, they have drawn Rangers away and as much as I hate the Pars I hate the ugly sisters more.
  6. Haha I've contacted Tim Booth and he's going to wait until we get there before they start. In the pub just now so not holding out much hope [emoji16][emoji106]
  7. My view from the bar I am currently sat in. Heading to Times Square in a wee while to see James but COYB.
  8. In Newcastle for James, lovely day and the place is heaving with Celtic fans [emoji16]
  9. I might be in the minority but for cover I don't think Craigen is that bad wide right. I agree left back could do with more cover, Gallagher has looked excellent so far but would be worried if he got injured.
  10. I honestly think if Sibbs signs it gives us the strength in depth to win the league. We will get injuries and suspensions and the more cover we have in the squad the better. You need a squad to win titles not just a starting eleven.
  11. I'm the same. I would have preferred standing but didn't want to take the risk and end up not getting any.
  12. Would love to see Shepherd and O'Hara getting a goal. Would do their confidence a world of good.
  13. Brilliant, that was a great time following the Bairns [emoji16][emoji106]
  14. This will be a very tough tight game. Despite the League Cup failings I still think St Mirren will have a decent season, look at us last season. I'm going 2-1 Bairns with Fash and Rory on the scoresheet.
  15. This, both Sheps and Kevin could be required if either Rory or Fash get injured or suspended and for that reason they shouldn't go out on loan.
  16. It's clear Loy is going to bring loads more to the team than just goals. He played a cracking ball wide to Harris for the first and when big dumpling goalie made an arse of his clearance he kept the head and played in Austin who's finish was braw. Fash, O'Hara and Shepherd have got great guys in him and big Lee to learn off.
  17. According to the head to head stats. 21 games 4 ICT wins 4 draws 13 Bairns wins Our boys love a wee day trip
  18. Hippo looked fine, doesn't quite look match fit yet though but he put in a decent shift as did the full team really . I think if we can keep McKee fit he is going to be an important player this season. A lot of our play goes through him and he tries to drive us forward.
  19. Good performance today and thought ICT never really troubled us much. Tried the physical stuff but it got them nowhere. That boy Austin is hopeless, no other club will be interested in him[emoji6]
  20. Playing well so far and the sun is out in Inverness. Young team singing their hearts out too.
  21. Maybe not next season but they are possibly grooming him to take over at some point in the future. In many ways this could be a decent idea as the transition should be relatively painless. The players will know his ways and he knows them. With some of the appointments our board has made in the not too distant past it could be worth a punt.
  22. I'm the same, I priced the train and it was fecking horrendous. Even with our boring auld kents over 50 railcard [emoji16]
