  1. I wasn’t alone in my thoughts at that time and I know a lot of other Falkirk fans who have followed them home and away for years who didn’t renew after the relegation to try and force through change at boardroom level, I also know of people who sponsored the club that withdrew that support. I wouldn’t stop going if the team were shite but at that stage I honestly feel if we hadn’t voiced our concern and showed we weren’t just accepting the atrocious way our club was being run then we might have still had that board and not be on the upward path with a forward thinking board and fan ownership that we have today.
  2. I never renewed my ST the first season we went down in protest at the way the club was being run and it’s amazing how quickly you get out of the habit of going.
  3. I agree totally, doesn’t matter how the money is going in as long as it gets there. Would be great if we could improve the ST sales. If absent fans aren’t tempted to return after the superb season we’ve had and the feel good factor around the club then they never will.
  4. They might but wasn’t the idea of the extra £60 as going fully to the managers budget. Personally I prefer the FSS route and recently upped my monthly payment so I won’t be paying the extra £60 but each to their own.
  5. I’m not sure but I think it all goes the same way. I’m pretty sure FSS money will make up part of the playing budget for next season as would the extra £60 if you paid it.
  6. I cannot wait, in hospitality and for once there was a queue of folk wanting our ST’s. Grangemouth Railway club after for a right good celebration. Come on Bairns you can do this and make history. Bowie Heroes needs to be belting out the minute the full time whistle goes cos even if we don’t do the Invincible gig every single player/person involved with the club have been absolute heroes this season.
  7. I was a member of the SNP for years but left the party about 2 years ago, I’m totally disillusioned with politics now. The party has lost their way and have focused on issues that the majority of the country couldn’t give a shit about instead of focusing on the real issues ordinary folk care about. God knows who can sort the whole shit show out, the UK is an absolute mess and I’ve not got much faith that Labour will make things any better. I suppose at least Humza realised it was time to go unlike Sunak who hangs about like a bad smell. Don’t think I’ll bother voting for a while.
  8. I was the same, in my cart at 9.30 and by the time I got to the payment page it was gone.
  9. Nope, as well as we have done this season we have still had some absolutely honking referees who have given some very strange decisions against us. Mind you I suppose every club at this level could moan about the refs as they just aren’t very good.
  10. Yip I have the same theory, we are not a well liked club and officials continually do their best to stop us achieving anything.
  11. Yeah, hope Montrose get through the play offs and join us in the Championship, all the best.
  12. This is my thoughts as well. Our forwards do the business and convert a better percentage of the chances we create than they did yesterday and we shouldn’t have to worry about the defence. We have the ability to out score every team in this league. I predict a 7-6 victory.
  13. Could we move Rosco back and put Shanley up top or is Ryan injured too.
  14. I predict next Saturday between 3pm and about 5ish I will be shaking like a shitting dog with nerves
  15. My mate said about 6 weeks ago that bad refereeing had more chance of costing us going invincible than anything else, the b*****ds are trying hard.
  16. I honestly don’t think some football fans understand how hard it is not to play regularly and just get bit parts here and there, add in having to play out of position.
  17. Limited edition gold champions home tops go on sale in the shop Monday morning at 9.30am to ST holders, 200 being sold in the shop and 100 being sold by Greaves and they are individually numbered.
  18. Could we not just agree on a draw and not bother with the 90 mins. Both sets of fans in the pub and the players resting up for next week sound good.
  19. Great to hear Jean getting recognition, she is a lovely person who has given so much to our club. It’s great to see the club recognising the efforts of volunteers and shows how much the new regime value the efforts of those that give up their time for our club.
  20. I haven’t got an issue with fans of other clubs coming to our games, as long as it doesn’t stop regulars getting tickets. My mate is a cream bun but comes to maybe 10 of our games a season, he has done this for years as his laddies are both Bairns fans. He also comes to hospitality with me when I go for the day out and it’s him who buys his laddies Falkirk tops when they come out. I’m no lover of either side of the ugly sisters but it’s money into the coffers and who knows some of them might see the light.
  21. Would rather recall Bomber Brown and he’ll no be that far off 70 now.
  22. 2 game ban apparently so that’s his season over
  23. Before I forget, Finn Yeats sliding tackle in the box deserves a mention, as perfectly timed a challenge as your likely to see.
