  1. I’ve got the concrete top of one of the stanchion posts from the Hope Street terracing. It’s blue but you can see red paint under it as well.
  2. I got the match day polo that Tom Lang modelled the other day. Good quality and I look like him with mine on apart from the 30 odd year gap, receding hairline, 5 stone heavier and my ugly face, apart from that though not much difference.
  3. I don’t think the proven striker is really the issue, it’s more the formation McGlynn utilised last season. If the likes of Oliver, Allen, McIvor, Agyeman, Morrison, Nesbitt etc all weigh in with goals then it negates the need for one 20 goal plus striker. The issue will be if he persists with the alleged 3 that isn’t really a 3 whereby the lone front man is isolated. If that continues then I think he will have problems.
  4. You can go along to the bar in the KM stand on either Sunday 16th or Sunday 23rd July between 12.30 and 3.30pm to renew existing members and new members can also be enrolled in the Junior Bairns.
  5. I totally agree, I’m hoping McIver and Allan could maybe be given a chance to forge a partnership, by all accounts McIver is decent in the air and Allen could maybe be the player to feed off his knock downs. We moaned a lot last year about the likes of Allen and Wright being shite(Wright maybe was) but they only got bit part chances. Strikers are very much confidence players who need runs of games to build understandings with their colleagues and there is nothing like bagging a couple of goals to build the confidence.
  6. I’d hope McGlynn has learned from playing lone front men last season that weren’t capable of playing there themselves and will look at alternative formations. Allan will get poacher type goals but he needs someone up there with him.
  7. Burrell is okay if he can be arsed, has good pace, misses a lot of decent chances and is prone to the odd huff. Unlike the other Falkirk poster I wouldn’t want him back and I wasn’t that bothered when he left. Edited to add, he might be a different player if he is up top with another striker as we only really saw him up top on his own.
  8. We’re blue we’re white and a wee bit reds alright, we’re Falkirk Bairns Falkirk Bairns. Thats one for the wee kids to stop them swearing
  9. Please tell me the away kit is white and just the opposite of the home ala the Hummel kits
  10. New kit is a thing of beauty, play on the Hummel kits but with the steeple on the sleeve, white shorts and red socks
  11. We will probably still have a few to come in as no doubt there will be loan signings too.
  12. You are getting extremely tedious. I don’t think you’re a Falkirk fan at all.
  13. If it’s a retro style top I’ll be happy with that.
  14. It might be that the two mock ups that were posted on here the other week aren’t far away as they were based on the Hummel kits.
  15. Have to say the team at FFC who are responsible for sponsorship deals at the club are doing a fantastic job. They’ll be getting the pigeons that fly about the KM on a Saturday sponsorship deals next. Fair play to them all, they are clearly working their socks off. For me anything that brings cash into the club is worthwhile no matter what the doubters or other clubs fans say.
  16. I think it will look fine once it has the numbers on it. I think they are decent.
  17. I think whoever sponsors either penalty spot should get a prize every time Falkirk get a pen next season, would be a good idea and would cost the club virtually f**k all.
  18. If folk/companies want to put cash into our club then I honestly couldn’t give a shiny shite what they want to do or put out on social media as long as it’s legal. I also honestly couldn’t give a monkeys about what fans of other clubs think.
  19. I must admit, I loved the day last season we signed the three including McGinn and the way it was done. Same the summer we signed the 18, it was great seeing the eyes and the pen on twitter, just a shame they turned out to be shite.
  20. I retired that year and got a signed framed yellow steeple top with all these jokers names on it from my colleagues. It’s wrapped up in a black bin liner and is in the loft, was giving me the boak looking at it.
  21. I love it as well, one of my favourite bands, I hope they are for sale again.
  22. I would definitely get a legends one and the Joy Division one if you are ever selling them again, they are cracking.
