  1. Also been told all 63 WRJFA clubs have applied, plus Drumchapel and Glasgow Uni. Not clear about any SoS clubs. Bonnyton probably the only likely one but nothing official from them yet. One day left to apply.
  2. Applications are already open for next seasons LL U20's, deadline is 15th June.
  3. There are 9 applicants; Kennoway Star Hearts Thornton Hibs Kirkcaldy & Dysart Lochore Welfare Lochgelly Albert Rosyth Newburgh Luncarty Edinburgh South Eyemouth United have also indicated they will be rejoining.
  4. Still here [emoji41] I have said before, I always wanted Junior football to fill the void below the LL, I wanted Junior football to get involved in the LL from the very start. Could have happened. Didn't happen, and sadly it became apparent it was never going to happen due to the grades own sense of self importance and over estimation of its worth in the greater scheme of things. There's been a few twists and turns along the way, I called things wrong, but what this thread has done is bring facts to the discussion and dispelled myths about the Pyramid. If that has had an effect on clubs decision making then so be it but I think you over estimate the influence of the forum. Kelty, and then Dalkeith, rocked the Junior game to the core, and credit should go to them for having the baws to grasp the future. Everyone else merely followed. I have never hated Junior football as some claim, I even compiled a book on the game which took years of research. I simply wanted the game to modernise, look outward and move with the times, but it was let down and ultimately killed by the "Junior men" at all levels who refused to see it was just 11 guys playing another 11 guys just like any other league in Scotland, Preston are no different from Penicuik, Whitehill no different to Bonnyrigg. 11 v 11. Why couldn't they play each other? You're right, this thread has ran it's course, the future of the grade is now obvious to all. Time to move on. It could have been different. Stay safe and healthy everyone.
  5. I think the only SoS to have an application in are Bonnyton.
  6. Unless reality hits, Carluke, Lanark, Lesmahagow and Thorniewood could hook up with the remaining West Lothian Juniors, none of whom have applied to the EoS.
  7. Cheers Pyramidic, ignore the sideshow!
  8. Can you list those WRJFA clubs who havent yet publicly declared?
  9. I believe there were 9 applicants for the EoS come the deadline date. We've already pieced together 8 of them, I wonder who the 9th was (I don't know).
  10. Travel to Aberdeen from Dundee is no different from Dundee to the Lothians. Dundee to Peterhead is almost identical in distance and driving time as Dundee to Dunbar.
  11. Probably not. They're pretty staunch to the grade.
  12. Season after next they will join the second division (tier 8 ). If there's more than 16 clubs in that division then it would need to be discussed how to accommodate them. Third division?
  13. Aren't Tayport marooning themselves here?
  14. I assume the clubs applying for WoSFL will in turn be resigning from the WRJFA? Therefore, any clubs that decide to remain are still in the WRJFA which continues to run with a much reduced membership?
  15. Just Drumchapel as far as I'm aware, along with Glasgow Uni.
  16. Last I heard, no SoS club had formally applied, that may have changed of course and there is still time to apply. I doubt the LL/WoS will want or need to take clubs from other areas.
  17. Final day for applications for the EoS, will any of the West Lothian clubs break ranks I wonder.
  18. SFA Licenced clubs received their payments from the SFA last Wednesday. This payment would normally have been made in December 2020
  19. I guess they'll sift through the applications and then decide what to do with the ones from other leagues in other areas - if there are any. They will probably have the whole WRJFA plus a handful of others from the west, so no need to take from anywhere else.
