I think those in charge of my club have had an easier time than they should be getting because of the season ending. Thankfully fans are beginning to as the right questions. The attitude towards others in these small rural places has been terrible. I was stuck on an large island for lockdown and they were hyper vigilant to it all. Someone who had lived there for 5 years decided to go into town with her campervan to stock up. Because some didn't recognise her, abused three times by the time she got home.
Originally from Edinburgh but can remember reading more electric Soups than shakers weekly. Though the only character I can remember is Rocky McBlaw. I'll look up the electric soup editors other stuff.
Not read the whole thread, but does anyone remember the two Scottish comics that were about in the late eighties, early niģties that where called Shavers weekly and Electric Soup? Shavers weekly was Edinburgh and the electric Soup glasgow.
Did they pay their tenner at the pist office like everyone else? Hopefully their peg is shoogling to the max. It seems the queen couldn't give a Turkish delight about the victims of serious crimes.
Sounds a cliche but venting is well worth it. I take it out on the guitar when it's getting too much. Ever though about getting a punch bag? Excellent things for letting off some steam. Just imagine you are punching everyone you hate...
