Will WOSFL continue as normal as likely only Talbot, Pollok and Clydebank would be regularly affected by 500 limit capacity and all could survive with max 500 fans for 3 weeks??... If is 3 weeks..
3 weeks Where have we heard that before

This is the players we've got out on loan that I know of currently and where those teams are in the league.
WoSFL Premier
Kinlay Bilham – 19 y/o – Irvine Meadow Pos: 8/20
Paul Smith – 19 y/o – Cumnock Pos: 12/20
Jonny Hogg – 17 y/o – Rossvale Pos: 17/20
James Dolan – 18 y/o – Rossvale Pos: 17/20
WoSFL Conf A
Alex Jeanes – 18 y/o – Girvan Pos: 9/16
Andrew Heaney – 18 y/o – Girvan Pos: 9/16
Will depend on how much of an opportunity they get with us and the individual characters but in the past players such as Longridge and Crawford showed no fear when making their debut in this league while it was here where McGuffie and McCowan first featured regularly. Personally I'd prefer watching an unknown 18 y/o Forrest type player from the academy over someone like Salkeld who is never likely to improve.
Always wondered why with Whitletts Vics on the doorstep why they never get anyone on loan? With them also moving back to the astro at Whitletts it could be an opportunity to have a training base close to Somerset without spending a fortune and having some sort of partnership with the local club

Some consistency from the top 3 in this league. Arthurlie unbeaten all season, Shotts not been beat in ages and Whitletts on 8 league wins in a row

A question for the Meadow fans - I went along to the development team game v Girvan last night. One of the Meadow lads seemed to get a bad injury. Just wondered how he was doing?
I read he broke his tibula and fibula

I remember they used to have their pie hut behind the goals. You had to go to it at half time in pairs, one for getting the bovrils and the other to keep a look out for stray shots by the substitutes. Seen a few folk receiving third degree burns after being scudded by a ball.
Think the pie hut has moved but you can still get a beer in the bit behind the nets.
I always enjoy a day out at Craigmark, good craic with the locals in the bar and stand0 -

As everyone will know this game was abandoned due to the goalkeeper of Gretna Mathew connelly sustaining a facial injury, I believe he is on loan from motherwell and has a a bright future ahead of him , reading on there Twitter site he is awaiting surgery, I would like to wish this young man all the very best to a speedy recovery
Some username for a Gretna fan?

But that's another game where we've competed well with the teams at the top, unfortunately yet again we've slipped to a single goal defeat.
Missing today were McGinley (holiday), Miller (holiday), McGuire (Covid), Coleman (Covid), Shields (broken hand), and Mitchell was playing with an injury which saw him go off before half time. All of the five missing players would likely have started had they been available. But that's football.Yip every team gets call offs but players going on holiday during the season is always a bugbear of mine.
Or the races, absolute joke at this level

No Payment asked for in any sessions in response to a post in Amateur Football category.
Have you thought about emailing some of the smaller clubs and asking if they need someone. Not many people posting on here these days and definitely not from the smaller teams.

Heading to Troon v Hurlford today, looking forward to my first taste of the West of Scotland League, never even been to West juniors game before.
Troons a good choice for your 1st game. Tidy wee ground, good food choices and bar selling real pints

Seen this on Whitletts twitter, thought some on here might be interested after saying it was some game

Hopefully the plans for a national non-league cup competition from tier 5 downwards will come to fruition, and the WoSFL have been at the forefront of those discussions by submitting a proposal to the 4 Leagues Meeting (Lowland/WoSFL/EoSFL/SoSFL) which has gained their approval and has now been submitted to the Scottish FA and is on the agenda for discussion at the next Pyramid Working Group meeting.
It has also been noted that the SJFA went public a week or two ago stating their intention to form a similar competition. Hopefully all parties will work together to make this happen.
This will be brilliant if it happens. Any plans to include the Highland League or Northern teams

Ha ha ha darvel enter the west of Scotland cup but no THE Scottish junior cup , beggars belief to be honest
This will be the last season of the Junior Cup as its known going by what I’ve heard. Talks at an early stage to have a non league cup including west, east, south, lowland and highland league and whatever else is left over from the juniors

He’s already said he puts no money into Darvel so that’s no a valid point now but if he was to walk out the players he took with him could walk as wellWhy would they walk? Doesn’t happen at any other senior club. Are you suggesting they don’t give a shite about Darvel and only there for Mick? If so, id be wanting them out asap
