  1. You do realise that the SSC contains many fans who have travelled all over for the last 23 years since we last qualified for a Finals, and who so far have not been given any opportunity to apply for tickets (unless they did so off their own steam in the ballot before the play-offs had even started). I think most would agree they should be getting priority of limited available tickets.
  2. It's UEFA who sell the tickets, but I believe the SSC would supply them with details of who is entitled to them from their allocation. I get the impression UEFA are keen to ensure as many "fans" are there as possible to create an atmosphere within reduced capacities, they haven't yet ruled out travelling fans either so I'm confident the allocation will remain about 15-20%. Absolutely no doubt that the "UEFA family", sponsors and hangers on will get priority, they always do.
  3. You are correct we don't know what will happen, but CountyFan seems certain, just asking aboout his source to make him so certain. The SSC will receive an allocation as a host association, UEFA won't change that (bookmark this if you want). UEFA will also have to issue a certain amount of refunds anyway as they have already sold more tickets in the general sale for Hampden - across various price categories - than available capacity (probably the same for most venues). They also know tickets will therefore be in high demand given stadiums are only likely to have between 20-30% of capacities available. There's no risk to UEFA in deciding to refund every single general sale ticket (I don't believe any physical tickets have been issued) and restarting the process, they will easily sell the lot and could if they wanted to hike the price and take advantage. Of course they might not do that, if they don't then they are going to have to decide which ticket holders to refund, and which to issue tickets to, ballot? Seems unneccesarily complicated to me, but who knows.
  4. You know that how exactly? The chances are most general sale tickets sold to date will be refunded and a new process started based on the known capacity, for Hampden this is looking like around 12,000. The SSC will be entitled to about 2,000 of that, as will the Czechs and Croats although given the circumstances that allocation probably wont be taken up, or at least severely restricted. Then there will be around 15-20% taken up by UEFA/hospitality/sponsors etc. It might leave about 5,000-7,000 tickets for general sale. Maybe they'll ballot those already sold to see who keeps them and who gets refunded.
  5. Well if it's good enough for his dog......
  6. No, that is what I understand to be the figure that is being submitted to UEFA.
  7. I think you need to sometimes switch off from this thread, twitter and news sites. We're in a fast moving environment where it's easy to get lost in a myriad of different takes on a particular news update where people are lighting cigars or losing their heads in equal measure. This thread is evident of that. Most people have had good and bad days during the last 12 months, sometimes its good to put the phone down and turn off the laptop for a while and forget. Not easy I know.
  8. If I wanted what is best for the club I'd take relegation to a 16 team First Division as opposed to repeating a third season in the Premier where we could struggle again, but that's probably not a view shared by the club or players and I can live with that. It's also not on offer. As for your second part, that can equally be levelled at those desperately wanting board decisions overturned to suit their own agenda, setting up new ID's for that purpose. At no point have I said null and void is "best for football as a whole" you just made that up as usual in your attempts to have a pathetic pop even though you have zero interest.
  9. No gymnastics Mallo weirdo, just backing the EoS board on the contingency agreed last year.
  10. You do realise that there is already a plan which was agreed by all clubs to deal with this exact situation? now that some clubs see an opportunity they're rattling the cage. Self preservation or naked opportunism? Another troll who has something to win by causing ructions.
  11. None of this is a situation anyone wanted to be in. The board are in a difficult posiiton but did put in place contingencies to deal with it. I don't see any reason to deviate from that. Some will disagree and they're entitled to do that, I'm sure the board have had plenty feedback since the DB email. Enjoy your evening.
  12. Who is getting punished with the season not even a third done?
  13. You're being pedantic now. We'll leave it there as your "solutions" are becoming even more desperate.
  14. Are you now seriously suggesting we abandon next season and just play out this one? how about everyone starts afresh in July?
  15. We can't kick a ball in training until 17th May.
  16. In reality not enough of the season had been completed to legitimately claim clubs in the promotion hunt have had promotion snatched away. Luncarty 7/28 games, Leith 9/30 games, neither have played even a third of the season, lots of other clubs were also in the hunt, HWU were top of one Conference but had played the most, still only 11/28 games. Same goes from the Premier, nobody can say with any certainly who would have gone on to win it, Tranent? Jeanfield? Linlithgow? Penicuik? Jeanfield played only 9/34 games. Would anyone really be negatively impacted in the EoS by null and void? not IMO, we've not played enough games. As for next season, I have a feeling that the new member clubs will come in below the existing Conferences and be unable to gain promotion to the Premier next season in order to keep the opportunities the same for existing members.
  17. No, they were lead to believe they could null and void and nominate a play-off participant, the SFA told them they couldn't as it had to be on merit so we had the ludicrous situation of the HL declaring on PPG when some clubs hadn't actually played a game. Yet some people talk about the integrity of the Pyramid. The circumstances are wholly different, the SFA aren't telling tier 6 leagues how to end the season, hence why the WoS and SoS have already N&V.
